Yeah. Education sucks.
Education is the critical link to ending poverty.

So why does government waste $3,000,000 begging for funding, when that money would have educated 375 people for 1 years tuition?

The fact they spent this money of the people advertising, proves they don't need it, or can be trusted with it.

or spend a billion dollars on a failed website and advertising to attempt to sign up for health insurance, when the billion dollars would have equaled 125,000 people getting $8000 for an insurance subsidy? We have ZERO to show for this wasted expenditure, and giving $4000 to 250,000 families would make everyone I know happy they contributed.

You can call me any name you want, but I prefer my tax dollars be spent in the spirit of how hard it was to make it, prior to them confiscating it.

Nothing feels better than helping people, and nothing worse than being had.

Above scenario represents $1,003,000,000 of money thrown down a rat hole when it should have been spent solving root cause. Education & medical aide.

That is the difference in my politics and yours.

Did you read the article? Tax dollars were not spent on the campaign; these were donations from individuals and corporations. What the article fails to mention is how much money this levy would have generated if successful.$3MM may well have been a small price to pay in advertising for this potential revenue stream.
A mind is a terrible thing to taste.
and so is tax money.

and your $3 million being a small price to pay to advertise for what?....my being forced to pay property tax, city tax, and state tax by threat of jail?

or a $BILLION on a failed website that took 3 years to develop nothing, and all the advertising behind it to sign up was also a small price to pay?

This article also failed to mention the schools stole federal money and were caught. The taxpayers refused the idiots in charge of the schools more money to waste.

start using your mind.
