I'm not really a "turn the other cheek" kind of guy, but a clean slate is always an acceptable alternative.

This is an absolute prayer said in unison in EVERY Catholic Church.
I spent most of my childhood as an alter boy and studying religion in Catholic school...I also attended a Catholic university...Which gives me well over 20 years of religion classes...I've served with Monsignors and Bishops.
What about your credentials?
An "alter" boy, huh? Maybe an altered boy...

He didn't say Catholic Alter boy. My guess would be the alter at some store front 'Chruch of the Savior' type of deal.

He caught the chickens for sacrafice and milked the snakes before they were handled.

No, I speak as a real former altar boy, from the days of holding the paten at the altar rail, boy.

I'm human and I've strayed from the righteous path more than once and will probably do it again.
I'm not "Christ-like" like these fake Bible thumpers claim to be as the say to the world they are "Christian" and sin more than the devil himself.
I follow the Word, but I'm no saint and I don't claim to be.
There was only one perfect man and he died on the cross for our sins. We all sin daily. No sin is unforgivable. Mock God though, and He will evenutally 'harden your heart' so that you cannot accept Him. That is where the 'holier than thou' Chritians, hypocrites in the pews, will find themselves. Say, making excuses for condoning abortion. Not neccerialy those that have an abortion, but those that will call themselves Christian and find ways to condone it and continue that course. There are absolutes in Christianity.

Agnostics, athetists, evolutionists, I am respectful of all of their conclusions. Unless they give me a reason not to respect them as a person. There are good and bad in all groups.

Sigh, I bet you show up to say it just so you can eat that cookie and drink the juice...Jesus dying on the cross was the fulfillment of the covenant between man and god. It is the last covenant made between us and God according to the christian faith. It fulfilled the prophecy. None of the miracles Jesus performed had he taken credit for himself but always said it was god and people's belief in god that did it. Jesus is God's instrument- not a God too.

Right...

I held the Crucifix.
I highly doubt you were an altar boy.
Only the more advanced kids were chosen for such a task.

We had mass on Friday and we had to miss the first half of school.
All Parochial schools were like that in New York.
Are you now claiming you did that as well?
How is your Latin? If you are what you claim, you should know how to say "Christ have mercy, Lord have mercy" in Latin..You should have heard that through the whole mass a thousand times.

Go in peace, to love and serve The Lord, my son.

You are talking in circles...Your attempt at a definition of The Lamb of God is pulling you deeper into insanity...Cease before your blaspheming sends you to the depths of the realm of the prince of darkness.

"And on the third day, He rose from His grave to take his seat at the right hand of The Lord thy God..."

Are you claiming that The Son is not the Alpha and the Omega? King of Kings? Lord of Lords?
You dare challenge The Throne and who sits on it in Heaven?

Good luck with all that.

Agreed, somewhat.

God gave us free will and you are free to use it...

It is you, alone, that will stand before Him and be judged when your day comes...

Doubt all you want, kid. I was doing it when the surplices were made of silk.
Are you telling us that your parish celebrated the Tridentine Mass?
Because I find that hard to believe in Queens. The Boston archdiocese at the time had no Tridentine masses, hence we never heard Latin in our parish.
As for your Friday claim, you mean the first Friday of the month, not every Friday. And there was no missing "half" the school day. Mass was at 9:00 and the servers were out of class from 8:45-9:45. The servers were on a regular rotating schedule; it didn't matter what your class ranking was.
I think you're full of sh!t, boy.

See, SeriousLady? Fantasy Speaks says you can condone abortion and still be a Christian. What's more, he thinks you are stupid for suggesting otherwise.
