Reader at least gets free pizzas, not empty boxes.
Reader did not get free pizzas.
What Reader got was a note on the door from a pizza delivery guy who tried to deliver a large order of pizzas to my house. Nobody was home.
So--maybe someone got some freebies. Pranksters don't generally pay, leaving either the delivery person, or the pizza place, out the price of the pizzas.
On one level, merely an annoyance. On another, if the message is "I know where you live," well that is disturbing.
I've been pretty clear, I have no proof of who was behind that one, only suspicions based on other such messages that do link more directly to a specific person.
If any can remember back to middle school, where such immaturity is rampant, the point of throw the rock and hide your hand harassment is stir up ire while looking innocent. Trying to make the victim look hypersensitive and over-reactive--usually while building approval of an audience admiring the daring of the bully.
