Boy howdy it is a terrible thing that people have the ability to join together, and use the latent collective bargaining power inherent in their spending authority to advocate for social causes.
Terrible.

Boy I am glad that the freedom of speech is so tightly monitored. Welcome to 1984. WTF cares? I don't. Don't like what a company says, does, or sells, go somewhere else. How's that for social causes? It's called freedom.

How about the days when corporate executives simply kept their mouths shut while they amassed their billions?
Those were good times too.

They certainly were. Ask any working American with a brain if they wish the corporate world of 1963, 1970 and 1985 could return. 90% would say yes.

Both of you are wrong. This is Catholic Italy we are talking about and the old dudes there are very stubborn about stuff like this.

That seems to be what's going on in this thread. Wombles likes the company's views so he's encouraging people to buy. People who don't agree with them may instead ask people to join them in not buying.

It's the more speech remedy. It's pretty awesome. It's an imprtant part of freedom.

I love the 1984 reference though. Do you want to unpack that a bit more to talk about what parallels you see, or did you just include it unthinkingly?

You do realize that you criticized Duke by offering as an alternative the exact method Duke advocated that you were criticizing, right?

Cheezus Keeerist.

Assumptions up the wazoo here. Love it when Tranny and Che jump on my ass just as I'm ready to leave for a weekend away. Makes it all the more special.

1) 1984, totalitarian government theme. Ding ding ding. Lack of open and free markets, controlling psychological stimuli. I do think the last item is probably Tranny's and Che's problem.

2) Who said I disagreed with Dukie? Usually, yes, I do. I did challenge him from another aspect, however.

Bite me. Oh wait, no thanks. I'd rather spend my money on my weekend vackay instead of on emergency hospital bills for possible rabies.

Have fun guys!

Well I guess that they are free to try.

But for people like you to pretend that others with opposing viewpoints are somehow behaving poorly by letting their feelings be known seems a bit hypocritical.

Actually, it doesn't just seem hypocritical.

It is.

What does government have to do with this?

Plus it is in Italy so how does the United States Constitution even apply?

Goddammit you are stupid!

Have you ever noticed how the right doesn't cry and scream about consumer choices made by leftists? If you want to throw money at Ben and Jerry's, Tom's of Maine or Costco, we don't care.

Feck off, that is what Tranny and Che may want to support. A government that shuts others up. Sorry if you can't think on your own, wee boy. This out of someone who questions whether a child can have consensual sex with an adult? I hope they throw the key away for the cell you're in.

From what in this thread do you come to the conclusion that either myself of Trans want the government to shut people up. You are by far the dumbest poster ever. Even Catman Dave is more intelligent.

You are crying and screaming about what the left chooses not to buy. What's the difference.
