You missed the point. Confiscating or banning guns from law abiding owners for something a criminal did would be equivalent to confiscating or banning alcohol from law abiding citizens for something a drunk driver did. You people continually want to punish law abiding people for something criminals do.
I figure you must have been beaten as a child for something your siblings did in order for you to believe this is normal.
I guess we will find out if we love our guns as much as we love our booze.

Really? Isn't Columbus some town in the United States? You need to check your sugar or something. You are acting much more bizarre than normal.

Do you refer to capital cities as "some town"?

Kelly: SEALs Scornful of Arms in Schools

As another school shooting made headlines on Thursday, former astronaut Mark Kelly waded into the national gun-control debate with a very personal perspective that more restrictions are needed.

“We certainly can’t allow ourselves to continue down this road where this happens almost now as a regular occurrence,” said Kelly, the husband of former Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, who was critically wounded during a 2011 mass shooting.

During an interview on CNN's "Piers Morgan Tonight," Kelly countered many of the arguments from gun rights advocates for solving shooting-relating problems, especially putting armed guards in schools. The former combat pilot said he had friends who had been elite Navy SEALs and they thought it was a “ridiculous” idea.

I think this will happen. Just what it might be, I can't say with certainty.

On another note, it really doesn't matter to me, if I agree with you or not. I find your posts to be informative. Keep up the good work.

I would be fine with requiring background checks at gun shows if that will make the liberals sleep more soundly at night. It won't make a bit of difference. Plenty of people are straw buyers for criminals in this country. Happens all the time. It will continue to happen.
Removing more liberty and freedom from responsible gun owners will not save lives. It will not lower crime. It will not deter any of us from buying firearms or ammo. All it will do is cause more paperwork and headache. That's it. It's a giant waste of time and a pleasant distraction from the real fiscal disaster our country is in right now.
The only thing that interest you, is your right to own a gun, nothing else. And your paranoia of what Obama will do.

Are you another nut that believe there will be civil war over gun laws?

With booze that's determined by how many people buy it and how many don't. Should be the same with firearms. Don't like them, don't buy them. Don't like abortion, don't have one. Don't like gay marriage, don't marry a gay person. Don't like pink houses, don't paint your house pink. See how that works? Live and let live. If someone is not harming you or violating your superior rights, it's none of your business what they do or buy.

Right. The key is the "if someone is not harming you" part.

I love the idea Obama ended the war for the United States in Iraq. I never liked George W. Bush. He looked like a bumbling fool. I don't care for the Speaker of the House John Boehner, nor Minority Leader Mitch McConnell. I liked very much Republican Presidential Candidate Jon Huntsman. I did not vote for Mitt Romney. He was pushed into the race by his big ego wife and kids. He would not have done anything for our country except a few rich. He might have cracked down on those that think the government is the National Get-It-For-Free, Hand Out. But on the other hand, congress both Democrat and Republican, have the perks, to get bills passed, that cost $Billions. There are the rich that suck off the government in the way of contracts, where they make $millions. So many millions of people both rich and poor expect a handout from the Government. It needs to end, but like stamping out evil, it isn't going to happen, except talk when candidates run for office. The old dogs in Congress teach the pups how to become corrupt, or silence them.

It is like trying to point out your lies Jew. You just change the subject, and continue your lies, like you think you know all about every person on Columbus Topix.

A clue to what the President of the United States is thinking.

When asked what the administration has done or plans to do to limit assault weapons at the Oct. 16 debate, Obama said part of the solution to gun violence "is seeing if we can get an assault weapons ban reintroduced."

Look out Assault Rifle owners. It may be good bye to the assault rifle. Sell yours while they are a good price, it will beat handing them over to the National Guard to be destroyed.
