To use this data effectively to make a point, you need to collect a bit more.
Showing 5 companies using union labor doesn't really make a point. Asking [and answering for your readers] basic questions like...
At what rate have union jobs been lost in the past X years?
How does this compare to non union jobs in the same market in the past X years?
At what rate have companies using union labor closed operations or ceased trading in the window of X years?
At what rate have companies not using union labor closed operations of ceased trading in the same window?
Would render the currently useless anecdotal information you've offered very, very relevant.
If I say Mary, Sue and Tomoki are all failing math and they're all women with dark hair, this alone wouldn't have you assume that there is a link between the two variables, without other data, would it?
Yes, it most certainly would.

Hey Uncle UnReality. Tell us the one again about how the stock market would crash the day after the election if President Obama won. That one was funny AND scary.

all 5 of the corporations left Ohio due to Union troubles.
It has been extremely well documented; and now northern Ohio is vacant of thousands of good jobs.
keep denying fact........more job losses to follow your dream.
It is so because RealitySpeaks says it is so.

(And Mitt Romney is POTUS).

That's precisely what you've offered. I don't really see how you could be offended, offering anecdotes as evidence and then having them labelled anecdotal...?!
Tran, I was not offering anecdotes as evidence. I was stating real life, current events personally witnessed by me. Not gossip, not heresay. Events in my current life that I am quite confident about.

That idiot doesn't offend me.

If I know something solidly, I know it. If I don't I look it up or ask one of you all, like I did last night about the AFA. And was graciously answered.

I wouldn't be so sure. Based on the BS you spew here, my quess is there is a secret compact among your neighbors to do just that at the first plausible opportunity.

your analogies work only in fiction.
Reality is that the owners of the companies gave the union the finger; and Stark and Summit counties in Ohio now have far lees opportunity for the citizens to earn a living.
keep spinning....maybe you will hit oil or water.
It's not spin. If you calm down and read closely, you'll see that I'm not arguing with your claim but trying to show you how to present it in a sound manner. I haven't even checked if the claim is sound, because I wanted to be able to present you with the tools to collect and present the data without bias.

If you want people to think you're intelligent and successful, presenting yourself as such in discussion is going to be more productive than repeatedly making claims to your ability.

If you want to make an overarching claim [Unions are bad] break it down into smaller, factually based claims which can be supported [Union jobs have been lost at a higher rate than non-union jobs, union labor increases a company's risk of failure, etc]. This process is pretty easy. Unpack your original, general claim and look at what you've observed that makes you think that.

Next, do a bit of very basic research. Of the specific claims you want to make, which prove to be true [look for union v. non union joblessness rates over a set amount of time, take a look at what businesses have closed in X time window and if union labor involvement makes a difference]. Even if you think you know something, try looking it up, I've often been surprised! If you're doing this fact checking online, feel free to include links in your presentation.

Finally, present your claims. You can include your overarching premise, if you like. package your claims and opinions alongside the facts you've found to support them!

I've presented an example below, with sample data, naturally this data isn't accurate and shouldn't be taken as such.

"Unicorns are terrible for business. During the recession, 7/10 of the financial entities to fail have been unicorn run or have used unicorn labor for the majority of their contracts. Unicorn labor has been tied to higher production costs for the glitter and rainbows industries ( www.unicornsareexpensive.com ) while the willingness of government contractors to use non unicorn labor points to a high standard of work being done on both sides of the horn. While unicorns have played a large part of the development of the equine labor rights movement, in an economy where unicorn businesses cost an estimated 1.3X what non-unicorn labor does to complete public contracts, it isn't responsible to continue to support them"

If you can master this, we can move on to some fancier stuff and have you looking pretty clever in no time!

“Meh.”

Yes, I used to enjoy conspiracy radio about 25 years ago. Chuck Harder on the defunct Sun Radio Network was da bomb. And best of all, he was a lib, too.

I am the only one open minded enough around here (maybe Realty, Reader and George a little bit of the time) to listen to other points of view and poke holes in commonly accepted dogma.

You, on the other hand, are just a closed minded leftist goosestepper. There is nothing more boring than unoriginal people!

I know I've said some pretty stupid things in my day and I'm sure you have too. It's probably not in anyone's best interest to be giving out awards like that.
