Let's take your Jewish example. Let's pretend a Jewish employer was required to buy each of its employees a buffet lunch? Why would that employer care if one of its non-Jewish employees wanted to eat the BBQ pork?
As he would be paying for it, yes.

The flow of money is what is important, the third party does not make the money "ritually pure". It will lead to Catholic dollars subsidizing abortions, for people that called for Chik-fil-a to be boycotted because of donations made by a legally seperate foundation, it smacks of hypocrisy.

You will defend anything the government does, as long as your mouth of greed gets into the taxpayer trough.

<quoted text>Quick note, congress was in fact in session. That is why the court said the recess appointment was in fact unconstitutional. Congress makes it's own rules on what is a session and what isn't, not the executive branch. It does not matter that they opened the day for business and immediately closed it with the closing of the day being the only business done.
There are two or three of these and the administration is trying to claim this one gotchya only matters in one instance that he did this.
Thanks for the explanation. As I said, I was distracted and fuzzy on the facts.

That isn't your money any more than it is my money. Try again.
You are such a friggin idiot. Grasp this, if you can. It is OUR money. ALL of the taxpayers. WE own all of the government assets. Buildings, land, military equipment. The only income the federal government has is our taxes turned over to them. It remains OURS.

Privately, if you give or pay someone money, it is theirs and you have no say over it anymore.

But taxes given to the government, or rents collected on land WE own, remains ours. The role of the government is to be good stewards over it.

Historically, they have done a lousy job and this administration has topped all of the last 42 combined.

Go to bed, junior.

The evolution and adoption of the federal 2nd amendment and the analogues in state Constitutions is not a subject that lends itself to simple conclusions, as some here seem to believe. I think you're a little more intelligent than that.
woof
what's so complicated about it? It's an enumeration of a pre-existing individual right, which the government is forbidden from infringing upon.

So, Tony, what do you think about today's decision from the appeals court that Obama did, absolutely, break constitutional rule by those appointments when Congress was not in session.
218 decisions made by that panel that may have to be thrown out and done over.
I was trying to listen to it over a four year old who wanted my attention, so I'm fuzzy on the facts.
Unless you ask me about Dora the Explorer.:-)

The big difference there would be Jewish employer verses government mandating the payment. If a Jewish employer decides he is willing to pay, it is completely different then a Jewish employer being forced to pay by the government who is bared from making any law respecting the freedom of religion or prohibition of the free exercise thereof.

To put this into something you might be able to understand, imagine if you decided to have a party for your kid or a kid you know. Now imagine the government dictating you throw a party for someone.
