I know how the indians lived in this area in the 1600's. Does that make me between 400 and 500 years old?

The Mayor and Police closed the bars early on Friday night and emptied the patrons into the streets. You should try reading about it. http://dept.kent.edu/sociology/lewis/LEWIHEN.... http://www.ohiohistorycentral.org/entry.php... woof I have little sympathy for an SDS inspired riot. The proper move should have been to shut it down until the riots ceased.

Murphys law wrote: <quoted text> This is from wiki, so I'm not sure its veracity, but you can google it yourself According to the document by Pieter Janszoon Schagen our people (ons Volck)—Peter Minuit is not mentioned explicitly there—acquired Manhattan in 1626 from Native American Lenape people in exchange for trade goods worth 60 guilders, often said to be worth 24 US$, though (by comparing the price of bread and other goods) it actually amounts to around $1,000 in modern currency There is only one incident confirmed where smallpox blankets were used http://www.straightdope.com/columns/read/1088... It's why one should not be on the losing side of the war. I knew the equivalent of $24. That was one small piece of land from one tribe. So one confirmed incident, translated into today's mode of government operation, means they practiced it regularly and got caught once. The indians didn't inspire the 'war.' Some war. They had inferior weapons.

They had inferior weapons. Early guns sucked, they took a minute to reload and were inaccurate beyond 50ft. The Bow and Arrow was much more useful when from an ambush, by people who ambushed in order to eat. Later, many tribes acquired guns through trade. Usually, the problem was inferior numbers. Not tech.

I'm not worried about it. I'll let that concern you if you want to worry about it. woof

If Allison Krause had a gun walking to class, she never would have had the chance to get it out of her bookbag. Actually, there is a theory that the shooting was set off by a double agent wannabe with a pistol.
