I'll shoot anyone in self defense if I feel my life or my family is threatened. Any normal person will. And I'd only hide what was on the banned list. They won't dare ban revolvers and shotguns.
When are you going to wake up and pay attention?

OK, I know this is hard for you but I will try...

There is a large lake between the US and Canada, it's called "Lake Erie", I will use a boat to cross the lake, and then an "accident" will occur.

I will not be transporting any guns into Canada.

(I agree with neither of these organizations, but they do make the argument that 9/11 resulted in a restriction of constitutional rights)
And you are arguing that this was the intent of the terrorists?

Not quite. There was a fair amount of theory, for lack of a better word, underlying the Revolution. Those words in the Declaration of Independence and the Preamble to the Constitution didn't just pop up there. Hobbes, Locke, Rousseau--to name a few--were bubbling up beneath the notion that governments govern with the consent of the governed--hence taxation without representation was tyranny, and all that stuff.
Just as many of the folks who are regarding as falling in line behind Martin Luther King had been organizing in smaller ways--building networks and educating themselves on both strategies and schools of thought.
Even the terrorist actions of Osama bin Laden required a myriad of organization--a network of cells that could operate in ignorance of one another--with an adherence to revolutionary thought.
Revolution--is not something that just happens because a lunatic fringe gets angry about something. And this is why you and your friends appear to me to be nothing but hot air.

As to the FBI, that could be before or after I go to Canada, my second career may require "international travel"

You leftists won't get away with calling self defense, "revolution."
Read some of the works of Matt Bracken and see what might happen.

I think the terrorists intended to cause an overreaction which would damage the economy badly enough that it would cause the termination of aid to the Arab dictators and Israel. Causing a severe restriction in the Constitution or a military government would be what they are seeking, Gen. Franks made the comment on CNN several years ago about this.

The divison is deliberate. That is what all of the new immigration laws and 'instant citizenship' is meant to do.
Let's hope it backfires.
OMG...news in the backround. Just overheard: They have suspended a 5 year old girl in PA for threatening to shoot her class mate with a 'HELLO KITTY' bubble gun she got for Christmas.
This is where this gun mania has brought us.
You all familiar with "Hello Kitty?"
Ummmm, what new immigration laws and instant citizenship?

And the misapplication of "zero tolerance" policies in schools goes back across a number of administrations.

No one ever said, on this thread, that they would shoot or hurt anyone other than to defend themselves or someone else. And the 'someone else' is not limited to family.

As Americans, we want our freedoms upheld. We particularly do not want them maligned or 'arranged' by politicians of any party relaxing, and even encouraging, more lax immigration laws in order to build their base. Which is exactly what is happening if you open your eyes.

Want to make illegals residents or allow immigration to the US easier. Fine. As long as they do not qualify to vote in any election, at any level, until they have had legal residency for no less than 10 years.

And uphold that law. Which would be hard to do as they would be 'taxpaying citizens.'

Your words and thought process actually scare me. You don't like this country, do you?

That would require an amendment to the Constitution to remove certain parts of the 14th Amendment, regrettably it is almost impossible.

Reader, are you actually going to pretend that Obama is not pushing for making illegals that have been here such and such amount of years, citizens? Or that his agenda is not to relax immigration laws to allow more of an influx to support his agenda?

Please, read about socialism and marxism and the great success both have had. I know you know everything, but one more time may make a dent.

Scalia, Kennedy, Breyer are more likely to die or retire from the court before Thomas.
As for now, four votes on the court would let the government render the 2A useless, and there is a high chance that Obama will play racial politics with the next appointment.
High chance of, like 110%.

Yes, two appointed by Reagen and one by Clinton.

I still think that, politically, the second amendment is such a hot button issue that the dems won't push it past stricter background checks.

There is no physical way to confiscate unregistered weapons, and if that began, to put it mildly, all hell would break loose.

SL,you are flipping all over the place here. But let me try to respond. You specifically referenced new laws and "instant" citizenship. What new laws have been enacted regarding immigration or citizenship? A part of the ongoing immigration problem has been the inability of Congress to even broach the subject of legislation. And there is no such thing as instant citizenship.

None of which has anything that I can see to do with either socialism or Marxism.
