As far as respect, let me tell you something you sniveling little ball of snot; I have NEVER, in person, in writing, in any form of communication, including this forum or any other, in my business conversations nor my personal ones, revealed anything personal, identifying or embarassing about my employer, my friends or my family.
Quite the opposite, I am very proud and fond of them all and very discreet.
So maybe you should think about what threats you are posting before I have an attorney supeona your IP from the moderators. You will then know what an uncomfortable conversation is.....and it won't be with me or my employer.
Enough.
Not too worried about it. I told you that I have no attention of doing anything. But there are those who might. It is typical that you would take as a threat my suggestion that you are revealing your identity and that you should be more cautious.

You aren't discrete in the slightest. You are blowhard and a braggart and you are compromising those who you claim to care about. But by all means, carry on.

All I'm saying is that you are misinterpreting kind advice for a threat.

As for the football game...its about 9 or 10 weeks to baseball season.

Hmmm...know nothing about baseball except I went to one pro game in Baltimore and had more fun than anyone there! I don't really know that much about football. I don't watch till the playoffs, then I get so into it I scream at the TV. ALWAYS for the underdog.

So, kind advice to me from Che? No, that's not his intention. He's hateful and unkind. Not that I'm perfect. He rails at and about everyone. Today, I guess I'm his 'target.' Humph. I am not going to let him run off about me and my employment. Saying tomorrow "you will be having an uncomfortable conversation with your boss", is back handed threatening. Nobody knows who I work for unless the moderators have given out my IP.

I've never been contacted by the moderators. But if they have committed a breech of contract, it is what it is.

Enjoy your evening.

Government Gun Control Campaign:

The majority of Us the Government of this Representative Republic that vote and the nonvoters that sit on their dead hands and whine; Successfully reelected Obnoxious President, Vice President, Governor, Representatives of US the Government, County Commissioners, Township Trustees, Mayors, City Council, School Administrators and Board Members.

That believes Government can control guns and defy USA Labor Law, The Constitution, and demands of Natural Law: what Mother Nature, God, or Whatever Power decreed to be the reality of the real world, democracy, capitalism, the US Constitution, and free, fair, and affordable commerce and common sense demands.

Demanding every Stockholder, corporation, farmer, business, outsourcer sweatshop, and nonprofit, tax-exempt, organization and Church; markets the cost in the wholesale and retail price of his or her product and service; of every worker, consumer, and taxpayer's wages (union contract), healthcare, pension, investment and independent business profit.

This enables every worker, consumer, and taxpayer to pay healthcare insurance premium or pay healthcare provider. Pay ALL taxes and pay for every product and service they use for life. With money derived from wages, investment profit, and independent business profit. And enables every parent to educate, love, nurse, nurture, discipline, protect, and provide; for every child (job) they conceive.

And fund schools, infrastructure, local and national security, government services, and etc.; with money derived from wages, investment profit, and independent business profit.

And hold Union workers, consumers, taxpayers, and America’s grandchildren’s children, Government employees, Parents, Teachers, Veterans, Police, Firemen, and Fathers disqualified for affirmative action with white skin, Representatives deny Collective Bargaining Rights accountable.

To fund Illegal drug users and Immigrants, lottery, casino, and keno losers, unemployed Union workers replaced with nonunion workers, Human Traffickers, waitresses that pander for life for $2.00 per hour, slaves in tax abated enterprise zones, low-income child labor, consumers, and taxpayers, volunteers without wages, and nonunion workers willing to work for fewer wages than they can afford life. That pays with welfare checks, food stamps, housing vouchers, and Medicaid.

Pay sales tax on the more stock dividends (money) OPEC Nations, Enron Stockholders, Wal-Mart Stockholders, Hillarys, Chinese, Foreign and Domestic Investors and Stockholders (money marketers) market quarterly. In the wholesale and retail price of every product and service Human Beings use for life. And School Boards and Government needs to build, maintain and operate schools, infrastructure, and provide local and national security, and Government services. That gets only product or service.

Needed to measure and maintain the strength and growth of this UNAFFORDABLE economy and distribute money Human Beings cannot digest, burn in internal combustion engines, or burn to heat and cool their American Dream. Into OPEC Nations, Enron Stockholders, Wal-Mart Stockholders, Hillarys, Chinese, Foreign and Domestic Investors and Stockholders portfolios.

Defying USA Labor Law, the Constitution, and Realities demands makes it IMPOSSIBLE for President and Congress to avoid fiscal cliff. Makes free, fair, and affordable commerce IMPOSSIBLE; Makes funding schools IMPOSSIBLE; Makes balancing every budget IMPOSSIBLE; Makes Union workers, consumers, taxpayers, and Americas grandchildren's children life UNAFFORDABLE; and created Ohio’s $1.35 trillion budget deficit, the $40 trillion social security and the $16 trillion national debt. America’s grandchildren’s children are responsible to pay Chinese, Foreign and Domestic Investors and Stockholders interest with this debt until they are 18 years old. America’s grandchildren’s children cannot pay this debt in a hundred million years.

This is exactly what is wrong with this country today. These threads are full of personal attacks about race and religion and repeated comments about people's lack of family and success. Not once have I said anything of the kind to anyone. AT MOST, I have called someone stupid, and then only after they repeatedly refuse to acknowledge facts as settled as the Earth orbits the sun or after they call me stupid for believing the Earth orbits the sun.

But to you and your friends on the right, my questioning your public opinions is "hateful and unkind." Look at the Kosmik example. From what I can tell, he was "liked" here until he had the audacity to disagree with Fred over the presidential election. On cue, many of you were on him like a pack of hyennas attacking his private life. It's wrong and ingnorant and it's a symptom of Tea Party politics.

That thinking also causes you to interpret the words "If I was the type of person who did such things I could contact your employer tomorrow" as a threat. A threat would not have been qualified. And even after I explained to you that I think I figured out who you work for solely from the things you have written here over the last two weeks, you choose to accuse someone else of a breach of security.

You and the way you think is the problem, no one else. You disclosed the information. You deny facts. You have a hostile attitude toward anything or anyone different. A smart person would take this information to heart and think about it. Consider it and reflect. You will just bull ahead and blame others for the results.

why are you forcing personal responsibility on poster; but you never yourself accept personal responsibility, or for anybody else?

there is always an excuse from you; but now you demand personal responsibility?

I can't force personal responsibility on anyone. Nor am I demanding it. I have simply pointed out the error in her thinking. Your reaction makes my point perfectly.

I will probably regret asking this, but the response should be entertaining (considering you don't know me). How have I failed to accept personal responsibility?

The Schottensteins and Sol Schenk started Consolidated Stores Co., which eventually became Odd Lots and is the current Big Lots. It started as a private company, but they sold their stakes when it went public.

Schottenstein still owns the remaining entities such as 1-800-Safe-Auto.

They were also famous for liquidating Fiats and DeLoreans back in the day.

I like Big Lots, but I LOVED Value City. They closed the store here about 5 to 7 years ago. I think I was the last customer in there. I found things in there that I've never seen anywhere else. I was an emotional wreck. ;-)
Big Lots was a great store early on, but it's tough to feed closeouts to a chain when it gets big. Ollie's today is what Odd Lots used to be like.

Value City was spotty. They went under the "Schottenstein's" name here, and Value City outside Franklin County. Schottenstein's was a favorite of women seeking closeouts ... and was a great store for designer fashions in their hey day. But as more chains started getting into the closeout business, they weren't able to get the good stuff anymore and started carrying more ghetto clothing in their final years.

They also owned Filene's Basement briefly, which was a great store for Men's suits. Again, they had trouble getting good stuff into the stores consistently and they had to fold up their tents. There's only so much designer stuff to go around.

They now own all the JCPenney Outlet Stores.

The Schottenstein Family Feud
Nathan Vardi, 06.30.10, 02:30 PM EDT

Jay Schottenstein, who runs the businesses of a storied American family, is facing a tenacious court fight with his own sisters over the family trusts.

For three generations the tight-lipped Schottenstein family of Columbus, Ohio, has ruled over a rich retailing empire that includes brands like American Eagle Outfitters and DSW. But the children of Jerome Schottenstein, whose Lithuanian-born father opened the first Schottenstein store in 1917, are now fighting each other over the family's vast network of assets amid accusations of betrayal and deceit. Among the allegations, two sisters of Jay Schottenstein, chairman of American Eagle and DSW, assert that he improperly used family trusts to maintain his positions at publicly traded and closely held family companies.

In keeping with the family tradition, the Schottenstein family, a former member of the Forbes 400 list, has managed to keep a year-long court battle quiet and out of the headlines. This despite the fact that sisters Susan Schottenstein Diamond and Ann Schottenstein Deshe have sued their brother, Jay, for breach of trust relating to 12 family trusts for which he has acted as trustee.

The Schottenstein squabble was sparked in 2007 by the death of Saul Schottenstein, the uncle of Diamond, Deshe and Jay Schottenstein. Saul, who had no children of his own, played an important role in the Schottenstein family's retailing empire, which has been run by Jay Schottenstein since his father and Saul's brother, Jerome, died in 1992. Under Saul Schottenstein's last will and testament, his shares in the family businesses were partly bequeathed to the various family trusts.

The litigation could potentially influence the direction of the family's corporate holdings if Diamond and Deshe are successful in their effort to remove Jay Schottenstein as trustee of the family trusts. The trusts hold big stakes in the Schottenstein family's most valuable assets, including DSW, the publicly traded discount shoe retailer that earned $54.7 million on $1.6 billion in annual revenues in its last fiscal year; American Eagle Outfitters, which earned $169 million on $3 billion of revenues; and Retail Ventures, which owns 62% of DSW.

The family trusts also have ownership in privately owned assets like Schottenstein Stores, which owns a chunk of Retail Ventures and holds such brands as Steuben Glass and American Signature Furniture. Another Schottenstein affiliate, SB Capital Group, is one of the nation's top retail liquidators, recently participating in the sell off of Circuit City ( CC - news - people ), Fortunoff and Gottschalks.
