Gov. John Kasich has commanding cash advantage over Democratic challenger Ed FitzGerald

I think Kasich will win!
He's done a lot of good for the state of Ohio.
Thoughts?

Kasich will win, as long as he continues to keep the the tea party wingnuts at bay, and doesn't repeat what he did to the public unions in his first year.

I totally agree. He found out about Ohio real quick when that happened.
Fitzgerald isn't really a strong opponent..Although he is effective in Cleveland politics.

Too bad people in Ohio aren't as smart as those in Wisconsin:

In just three years Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin demonstrated the vast gulf that lies between liberal economics and conservative economics. Wisconsin was a Democrat state living on Obamanomics running a huge deficit that was driving the economy into bankruptcy. Gov. Walker made reforms using Reaganomics that turned a $3.6 billion deficit into a $910 billion surplus in just three years.

Teachers from one of Wisconsinís largest unions have jumped ship -- voting overwhelmingly to abandon the group in the latest in a string of setbacks for the struggling labor movement following Gov. Scott Walkerís union overhaul two years ago.
According to Reuters, elections in 2011 and 2012 -- in which 207 school districts, 39 municipal and six state units participated -- resulted in 32 unions and their affiliates, or about 13 percent, being decertified.
Walker, after taking office, also moved to dilute the power of public unions to collectively bargain, and to require public employees to make pension contributions and pay at least 12 percent of their health insurance premiums.

Better check your facts and decimal points Paco. Sounds like you've been taking math lessons from Bubba.

You do understand the difference between a billion and a million, don't you?

You do understand how constitutional challenges of statutes work their way up the judicial ladder, right?

Executive orders only work for prog things like Medicaid, going after unions would be called "tyranny"

The state is still union punch drunk from 2011, the nebulous category of "the rich" are easier to go after politically than public sector unions.

We know from experience that tax hikes (Illinois) don't work, and slashing unions (Wisconsin) does, but don't expect the median voter to understand that for a while.

Seems to me that is a rather important typo, if you are going to attempt to use that link as a credible source.

Beyond that, as I have shown you, the constitutionality of Act 10 is still up in the air.

And he would find the statehouse occupied for four years.

Quite the scene, in a democracy.

One would hope we would learn from the example of an Ohio governor from the recent past, who knew how to stand up to communist intimidation.

Ummm...you need to go back and look at the historical record, and take a look at what actually happened.

And if you are speaking of Jim Rhodes, you should be ashamed of yourself.
