So you agree that you overstated it when you wrote that Turley said that President Obama has "created one of the biggest constitutional crises in the country’s history"? It would seem difficult to create something that has been going on for years.

I'm so happy that you admit the comprehension of reality is above you...

Unfortunately, you are the only one that does not get it.........

Your salinsky dodging of reality does not however change the fact that your god obama
is guilty of impeachable offenses......

You are not very good at what you are attempting to do........

Carry on then.....

Obama is a "DANGER" to every American he hasn't proved that he is an American!..I have never heard the man say "God Bless America",he refused to wear on his lapel the symbol of our country "the flag" of the USA... When he gives one of his long winded speeches,he say's it in a way that makes him sound more like an observer, then being an American. He just isn't Presidential in his demeanor,he is the most arrogant condecending in your face President, I have ever witnessed in my lifetime....I thought the Clinton's were a bunch of lying hyena's,Obama beats them hands down,or he took lesson's from the dynamic dual.....But then again the Democrat Socialist Party is full of liars, who are fooling the American people, along with some Leftist Republicans acting like Republicans.....We're in serious trouble people!,and we are being led by a crazed drugged out,American hater hulk of a symbol,of what the Dem's call a President!!.....He (Obama) and the rest of his burnt out hippies, are leading us into DOOM!!.......Obama needs to STEP down,or be forced out of office NOW!!,while we still have a country left!!.....That is fixable!!.....

Yes Che, Turley was critical of Bush, but Turley did not say it was at a "tipping point" under Bush, and Turley did testify in Congress during the Bush years about this very problem.
He did make that reference in his testimony about this POTUS, and I do agree with Turley on that point.
Our little trollie is not to bright.......

That being said,.......she will defend her god obama despite facts, logic and reality..........

That is what libitard bytches do........

Yet since William McKinley. President Obama has used executive orders less than all presidents other than Ford and H.W. Bush who were both one termers.
I believe it was also Turley who recently pointed out it in an interview that it doesn't matter the number of executive orders handed down. What matters is the content of the order being handed down.

I did not overstate anything, and no, I do not agree. What you are questioning is my very first post in this thread which was from a piece published in the Washington Times. That piece was the Times interpretation of Turley's written prepared remarks. I don't want to get into a game of semantics here, but below is what he did say in testimony. I believe it is fundamentally congruent with the Times interpretation.

"There’s no question that previous presidents abused their power, but what we’re seeing with the Obama administration is really a systemic circumvention of Congress, and remarkably, he’s doing that with the applause of his own party, members of the legislative branch.”

Constitutional Crisis or Tipping Point?
Semantics.

The President’s pledge to effectively govern alone is alarming but what is most alarming is his ability to fulfill that pledge. When a president can govern alone, he can become a government unto himself, which is precisely the danger that the Framers sought to avoid in the establishment of our tripartite system of government. In perhaps the saddest reflection of our divisive times, many of our citizens and Members are now embracing the very model of a dominant executive that the Framers fought to excise from our country almost 250 years ago.

https://jonathanturley.files.wordpress.com/20...

“A new model of government is emerging. Now, that model is the very model that the framers told us to reject” Turley said.“When you look at the actions he's taken they have gotten to a very dangerous point. He is arguing that even after asking for things and Congress refusing, he could do those very same acts, he can order those very same changes on his sole authority.”

House Panel Clears Way For Vote On Obama Lawsuit.

WASHINGTON (AP)— Over Democratic objections, Republicans cleared the way Thursday for a House vote on legislation authorizing an election-year lawsuit accusing President Barack Obama of failing to implement the 4-year-old health care law as it was written.

“The Constitution that we have sworn to uphold provides separate powers for each branch of the federal government, so that no single branch can trample upon the liberties of the American people,” said Rep. Pete Sessions, the Texas Republican who chairs the panel.“Unfortunately the president has ignored the requirements of the Constitution.”

Thank goodness they are doing this. For a second, I was afraid they were going to waste their time dealing with immigration or jobs or something stupid like that.

I know, right? Paying for birth control is so much more important than worrying about crumbling bridges in this country, or worn out electrical grids. Hurrah for Democrat priorities!

Wasn't all our infrastructure projects gonna get all fixed with all those "shovel ready" projects using the Stimulus Money; QE1, QE2, QE3, and QE4? Shoot, I thought "shovel ready" projects was the reason the unemployment numbers were going down, Wall Street and the economy numbers were going up, and everything was just humming along. They saying it isn't so?

That ain't what the story you posted seems to suggest.

"WASHINGTON — President Obama called on congressional Republicans on Tuesday to take quick action to fund infrastructure projects throughout the country, arguing that failing to do so could mean huge layoffs for Americans this year."

out of 1.2 trillion spent in stimulus only 67 billion goes to infrastructure. ... The president will say a lot if nice things about congress taking action but when it comes down to it he signs any turd that comes across his desk. Lets just hope all the money goes to the trust fund. Or maybe someone read the darn crap before they sign or vote on it.
