Reader weighs in on the Cedar Point marriage contest cancellation...with her predictable, stale, leftist crap:

reader reader (Reader)

Weddings, which are the formal celebration of a legal commitment, frequently take place at times and places other than the physical place where the legalities take place. It would have taken very little accommodation for Cedar Point to allow those who must legally marry outside of our state. Instead they chose to avoid the elephant in our living room by cancelling the event. Liberals didn't ruin anything, folks.

Is Reader finally out of the closet? Was she hoping to win the Cedar Point Wedding?

Incidentally, my brother was up at Cedar Point last weekend with the kids. Unprompted, the first comment out of his mouth was about how trashy Cedar Point is and how much he prefers King's Island.

Cedar Point's proximity to Detroit and Cleveland make it a real ghetto magnet. King's Island is as white today as when the Bradys filmed there 40 years ago.

One of her kids, no doubt.

Do you think you might be just a wee bit obsessed with Reader? One would think, for as much as you claim to hate her, you would be pleased by her absence and wish her "good riddance." Instead you pine for her return and then track her down on another website and report the results of your hunt here. You miss her. How sickeningly charming.

"Track her down"? I read an article in my local newspaper and then the comments that followed. And you call that "tracking"? You're really going for the big flameout today, aren't you, little girl?

Of course, we miss her.
She is a Topix regular...and a worthy debate opponent.
Unlike you.

I've always been a fan of Reader's as well. Love or hate her, she is still part of our dysfunctional little group here.

Wow. Talk about strange. CP is a private business. It can run its own promos as it sees fit!!

Not really. I was in that area last year, camping at Crane Creek and wine hopping at the vineyards in the area, then took a Canadian friend and her kids to CP for the day. It's becoming a real yuppy area. There's some serious money up there in a few resorts.

I was thinking more along the lines of the park attendees. KI is a lot whiter, IMO.

Probably, I couldn't say. I really didn't pay attention other than to get irritated waiting in lines and I haven't been to KI in probably 8 or 9 years. I hadn't encountered anything there I wasn't expecting--pretty much a mixed crowd, lots of kids, heat.(I'm not a huge crowd person, and the place was packed that day and my friend and I were there with her two teenaged sons--like we were tons of fun for them tagging along--NOT LOL--and my friend isn't much of a rollercoaster rider--we were wanting to get back to the vineyards hehehheh).

Yeah. You all have always been so respectful and kind to her. Your need to revise history must be in your DNA.

Pot, meet kettle. Your shockingly low level of respect around here is well known.

Einstein, my statement would only warrant a "pot/kettle" comment if for some reason I feigned concern that Nate, or you for that matter, stopped posting.
