"elective" means the 98% of abortions that aren't
A. Rape/Incest
B. Needed to save the live of the mother
That person would not be having an "elective" abortion.
And furthermore, no insurance should be required to pay for ANY elective procedure!

Well, Dukester...they all said the birth rate had fallen, but not why. Is it less promiscuity, birth control or abortion? And it is limited pretty much to teens, where it is a situation for all women pre-menopausal.

The first, I hope.
The jsonline site did say that the fertility rate for women had declined, but nothing about men.

I'm not trying to be argumentative. Hey look, It's Saturday night and the pizza's on it's way.

No--that is not the medical meaning of the term "elective."
Elective means medically necessary. Boob jobs, for example.

I know what the law of the land says, and the law of the land says the people reserve all undelegated law-making power, not the state or federal government.
The state constitution might say something about public education, but if it usurps local government power as you imply here, then it is not in accordance with the US constitution.
The people reserve all undelegated law making power according to the US constitution. People power (local government) is explicitly stated in the 9th and tenth amendments.
You know full well the current state of public schools teaching of Diversity values is a result of federal intervention, not state intervention into the affairs of local government.
In fact, in the state of Ohio, most education decision-making is at the local level, by statute.

Then you've misused the word, taking the conversation off in a different direction.

You forte when cornered. Have fun educating Poppy on Ohio education. No doubt, he couldn't know as much as you. No one ever does.

Ummm, no. The conversation at that point had to do with your belief that the rate of unwanted pregnancy has gone steadily upwards as a result of sex education and the availability of contraception.

Just not the case.

Except, of course, apparently in your personal experience--as you stated.

Typically, that is purchased as a "rider" but in some of the blue states, they mandated that all of the policies cover it.

Not sure if this violates federal law or not.

You're an out and out liar.

Where, you cow, did I say the rate of unwanted pregnancy elevated BECAUSE of sex education and/or birth control?

And where did I use personal experience as I have never been pregnant....wanted or unwanted?

You friggin twist every word to support your argument, which you have none to begin with....

You are a self-proclaimed Christian who is heavily pro-abortion.

And that is impossible. Glad you found a quasi-pastor that will go along with it.

Not using 'fertility' in the sense of ability to concieve

But the rate of actual 'procreation'

Please explain how you can procreate without being fertile.

You do the twist better than that Chubby Checker guy.

I don't know what that means?

I thought that the regulators were in favor of it.

If it's OTC, Obama-care wouldn't pay for it.

Too many possible side effects related to cardiovascular disease that may be undetected in women, especially those with hypertension, smokers and over age 35. Blood clots often seen in those patients. Also, survivors of cancers of the reproductive organs are advised to avoid oral contraceptives.
