Your on-going defense of knigg-hers like the gun runner obama continually reveals your filth to those that are not more than familiar with it. To repeat: you are despised.
Somebody out there running data on how widely I am despised in the world?

Or, are you assuming that Topix is the whole world?

Not to worry. I feel pretty solid in who I am and how I am regarded by peers and others.

As far as ethics, I have dealt 20+ years with people at the top levels of their profession, and never had my honesty questioned.
I am very concerned over the number of abortions being done and the number of people who are cheering it on. Bad, bad, bad.
And yet your perception (above) is that our country has no morals.

Are you suggesting that you are the only one left?

Ummm...I must tell you, and you should probably pass this on to your friends.

Naming someone in a will as custodian of your children in the event of your death has no legal significance whatsoever. None.

Carry on.

Interesting how difficult it seems to be to respond to Page's basic tenet which is that while single parenthood has grown along a slope, crime and violence have spiked and fallen--seemingly in relation to other factors.

Instead there is a rush to reiterate the assumption that he is challenging--factually--by restating the assertion, identifying scapegoats (blacks and liberals), not to mention jumping all over Reader for bringing the topic up at all.

For those who study sociology and social pathologies, this is pretty much how denial works. Confronted with an uncomfortable reality--one which, if true, would really rock the world of those confronted with it, there is a tendancy to look elsewhere, shoot the messenger, pretend nothing happened, or in other ways re-establish the old comfortable perceptions.

Well, for one example, if one criminal shoots and kills another, all the crimes the second criminal would have committed wouldn't happen.

Just that it might be part of the reason crime rates are falling. Death absolutely prevents recidivism.

Not at all. There are many, many who know, as I do, that the country is in a moral decay and has been for quite some time.
Just notice the amount of posters on here who are anti-abortion, etc.

Thanks, Dukester. I know. There are other instruments that have been executed. And I know they can also be challenged by grandparents, aunts and uncles.
What the heck? I just want the parents to stay healthy and live long lives.

Amish Defy Labor Law, Constitution, and Realities Demands:

The majority of Us the Government of this Representative Republic that vote and the nonvoters that sit on their dead hands and whine; Successfully reelect Obnoxious President, Vice President, Governor, Representatives of US the Government, County Commissioners, Township Trustees, Mayors, City Council, School Administrators and Board Members.

That supports Amish defying USA Labor Law, The Constitution, and demands of Natural Law: what Mother Nature, God, or Whatever Power decreed to be the reality of the real world, democracy, capitalism, the US Constitution, and free, fair, and affordable commerce and common sense demands.

Demanding every Business Owner and Stockholder, corporation, farmer, business, outsourcer sweatshop, and nonprofit, tax-exempt, organization and Church; markets the cost in the wholesale and retail price of his or her product and service; of every worker, consumer, and taxpayer's wages (union contract), healthcare, pension, investment and independent business profit.

This enables every worker, consumer, and taxpayer to pay healthcare insurance premium or pay healthcare provider. Pay ALL taxes and pay for every product and service they use for life. With money derived from wages, investment profit, and independent business profit.

And enables every parent to educate, love, nurse, nurture, discipline, protect, and provide; for every child (job) they conceive. And fund schools, infrastructure, local and national security, government services, and etc.; with money derived from wages, investment profit, and independent business profit.

President, the Justices they appoint, and Elected Officials hold compliant with realities demands Union workers, consumers, taxpayers, and America’s grandchildren’s children, Government employees, Parents, Teachers, Veterans, Police, Firemen, and Fathers disqualified for affirmative action with white skin, Representatives deny Collective Bargaining Rights accountable.

To pay income tax, Social Security tax, road tax, and etc. tax Amish evade; that pay 10% of their wages, profit on Ponzi credit certificates, and independent business profit; to nonprofit, tax exempt, Amish Church.

Pay for donors tax refund. Donors donate product and service to nonprofit, tax exempt Amish and nonprofit, tax exempt organizations relief sales; Needed to support defiant of USA Labor Law, US Constitution, and Realities demands in USA, and third world countries.

Fund Illegal drug users and Immigrants, lottery, casino, and keno losers, unemployed Union workers replaced with nonunion workers, Human Traffickers, waitresses that pander for life for $2.00 per hour, slaves in tax abated enterprise zones, low-income child labor, consumers, and taxpayers, volunteers without wages, and nonunion workers willing to work for fewer wages than they can afford life. That pays with welfare checks, food stamps, housing vouchers, and Medicaid.

Pay for all stimulus packages, tax abatements, tax incentives, tax refunds, tax credit, and tax exemptions. Pay sales tax on the more stock dividends (money) OPEC Nations, Enron Stockholders, Wal-Mart Stockholders, Hillarys, Chinese, Foreign and Domestic Investors and Stockholders (money marketers) market quarterly. In the wholesale and retail price of every product and service Human Beings use for life. And School Boards and Government needs to build, maintain and operate schools, infrastructure, and provide local and national security, and Government services. That gets only product or service.

Defying USA Labor Law, the Constitution, and Realities demands makes it IMPOSSIBLE for President and Congress to avoid fiscal cliff. Makes free, fair, and affordable commerce IMPOSSIBLE; Makes funding schools IMPOSSIBLE; Makes balancing every budget IMPOSSIBLE; Makes Union workers, consumers, taxpayers, and Americas grandchildren's children life UNAFFORDABLE.

He didn't say that they were falling. He said that they were spiking and dropping in various locales with no apparent relationship to the fairly continuous growth in single parent families.

Many Christians recognize that there are seldom moral absolutes. Making choices that impact human lives is certainly one area where there are frequently no good choices, only difficult ones.

Christians throughout history have never had difficulty with killing in certain circumstances (wars, self-defense, capital punishment). Very few have ever adhered to absolutes with regard to killing (perhaps the Amish and Quakers).

But, in fact, there are many Christians who support choice. I know (Christian) ministers who counsel from that perspective.

The "choice" = abortion.
You can't even bring yourself to say it.

Think on that.

I would expect a lag, perhaps a varying one, between the time the family became "single parent" and the time the "child" was caught committing a crime, that might make it difficult to measure.

That's not true, because even though abortion is available to any woman who wants one, many "choose" to give birth.

The choice is sometimes abortion, and sometimes not.

You have difficulty recognizing that.

It's an abdication of responsibility. 98% are essentially for convenience.

I would complain a lot less about it, if it ended in sterilization.
