Were you impressed by the new casino?

Drove by this morning. Got curious whether there were still crowds there, had an early morning errand down near Grove City. Way back, got off 270 and drove down Georgesville. Nightmare with traffic and parking, sheriffs still directing traffic. That area of Columbus needs a whole lotta money sunk into it to rehab it before it ever becomes a serious draw.

Thinking folks might show up once, twice just to check it out and try but never return.

I'm going to try and only "plan on" losing $50. That's worth the lesson i'll get in learning why these places are bad news. If i hit some jack-pot's, then maybe i'll think different before i press my luck any longer.

No.
I did read they use Marquee reward's. Kinda like your speedway rewards, for perks(parking, dinner, shows, etc.) I have a few friends going there in a bit. They keep edging me to go, but i'd rather not go on a busy time(for first experience), although, their might be some hot women there tonight...So, hitting the jackpot, could come from pulling one cherry off a slot machine.

LOL. Somehow I can't picture a hot woman putting change into a slot machine in a casino in Columbus.

Vegas? Maybe. Columbus? Can't get my head around that one.

Maybe not...That's one view i'm wondering about. I say, get the first experience over while the place is fresh, not wait til the place gets the detroit picture i assume.

Rarely even in Vegas, Bob. Unless they're 21 and new to the casinos. Hot women are at the tables.

That's what i'm thinking. I would rather play a card game than the slots. Racino been open for a while, and i've had no interest in going to that place. Plus, the dinning might be worth the visit all alone.

im hopin' to vist, may even go on c-mas and have the buffet...?...i bet they have a sports bar that would have a huge TV screen for football games and NASCAR..

i've been to casino/resorts before that had superbowl parties and stuff, they could charge $20 each and that would cover all the beer and buffet you could EAT/Drink....Baby!

soon there will be transportation provided to/from the casino to the surrounding citys..?...i figure they will have casiono express vans/buses making their rounds like all the others do also.

no charge

With the number of mexicans & bucktooths that are in that area.. you won't need that much ammo to cover them odds in hitting. You have a great enough chance with using 1 actual brick in striking either.

It was thug central. So glad they didn't build it in the arena district. All that trash would be in my neighborhood. Wonder how long til there Is a shooting. Damned gang bangers.

So you went?

I am interested in the "demographics" of who goes there because I enjoy that. Haven't been in casinos enough to draw any conclusions so I am curious whether you're going to see mostly "bluehairs" there like people say, or "trash" like you said. I'm also interested if one casino has a trashier clientele over the other or whether Scioto Downs and Hollywood are going to be roughly the same.

I will say the commercials they've been running for Hollywood with the rolling dice are completely cheeseball. Not going to entice me to go.

In Lawrenceburg I didn't notice a lot of trash, but it wasn't exactly high society, either. It looked mostly like the kind of people who work at car dealers, sell appliances, work in the trades, etc. Maybe Lawrenceburg is too far outside downtown Cincinnati and the trashy people can't get there.

I am so impressed with the new casino, that I am interested in opening a cash for jewelry and cars shop across the street from it.

obviously all the product purchased will have to be shipped to north of 270 so it can be sold.

a experienced jewelry store in a strip mall at Polaris inventoried of product purchased for ten cents on the dollar at the casino area, will offer great value to the savvy consumer; and allow the clerks to see a lot of great boobs from all the women bending over the cases to see the jewelry.

the profit margins would be flintstone, or ROI to be triple if you did not understand flintstone.

anyone else want to partner?

In Cleveland the casino is geezers mostly, the criminal element hasn't really shown up as much.

But there is no way that the real casino ever opens, perhaps if the socialists are voted out an the economy recovers, it will happen in the 2020s.

Isn't part of the city's income from this casino to go to help keep the Blue Jackets here?
I wonder if Coleman will help other failing businesses in Columbus with such an expense to the city?

True, I've been to a lot of casinos and most women at the slots are mom or grandma types.

Lawrenceburg is one of the cleanest towns I've ever been in. You can see that the city has invested the tax money back into the infrastructure.

That wasn't the "it" I was referring to.
