That's my point. Take the experiences that you can, as they come your way. Even the worst of experiences can bring *something*--a lesson learned, knowledge, or a few good laughs after being stuck in a crappy airport in a snowstorm next to some very stinky persons (and I've been there, too--in Detroit of all places). I don't believe in "living small." Go for it. Most fun I ever had was working in the middle of the Mojave outdoors and on a cattle ranch outdoors in Florida--actually got to live on the ranch for the duration I was there, absolutely wonderful.
You've never said whether you contraact directly or on someone else's dime, when I worked for a company I eeked out the best I could, when I held my own contracts, I stayed royal.

But unlike, oh here in Westerville or over in Hilliard how many bars, restaurants or fresh markets can you comfortably walk or bike to? Let alone access public transportation to?
If we didn't have the Third World here, we could have more public transportation. We prefer to keep the criminal element contained.

It's a decent 2 mile walk to the nearest bar, though I don't drink.

If you don't have order, you will not be free.

You see freedom as an end in itself, but it's not, it's a means not an ends.

If freedom leads to disorder, then obviously there is something wrong.
Wait what

Or they were on their way to class.
The growing fear was palpable. Students were advised to stay off campus, and local students called their parents to come pick them up before the gunfire erupted. It didn't take much to know that *something* was going to happen. Scary, sad times.
