Not to mention that the Gahanna, Whitehall and Bexley police are always on top of those outside elements. And for good reason.
Driving a beater around here on a slow day will get you lots of attention from the boys in blue. Better hope you use those turn signals and haven't got a single burned out bulb.

Saaaaaay what?

Lotta free floating anger here today. Too much family in close quarters of late?
My anger is rooted in what this country has become. A nation of leeches too stupid to fend for themselves.

I am a moderate. I realize we need a certain amount of big government. But MY GOD, people these days are pathetic. Too stupid to think beyond slogans, too stupid to understand cause and effect, too lame to take their lives in their own hands to do something about it.

If you ask me, this is the biggest downside of offshoring manufacturing these days. So few people are involved in making anything anymore, they simply don't understand the nuts and bolts of how to get from point A to point B.

People simply have no common sense.

If my people can come here with limited education and zero cash, and accumulate something for themselves, there is no reason the rest of you lamebrains can't do the same.

But free love, free drugs and free sex is more gratifying ... just get someone else to pay the tab for your dysfunction.

I was telling this to another lefty I was arguing with the other day who was going on about conservatives and "hate". I told her there are consequences to running trillion dollar deficits all the time. Not too long ago, a single combo at Wendy's was $3 bucks, which is what it's worth. Now $6.

You people all need a reality check.

Instead of listening to the Jews, you should have listened to me. you may not have had as much sex, but I guarantee even the most modest couple would have a six figure bank account.

You people listened to the Jews, you don't have a pot to piss in. They scooped it all up.

And since you always get in a huff, I am not talking about you individually .... but this is no "straw man" as you like to say. This is society as it exists today.

Hell, been to Kroger lately? I was there earlier in the week and thought about picking up deli tuna salad. That idea evaporated rather quickly when I saw $8.99 a pound.

At Colby they taught you not to drink wine from a brown paper bag?

Sounds like denial to me, George. It's like Rush's belief that his addiction to prescription painkillers is somehow better than an addiction to wholly illegal street drugs.

Trust me, a drunk is a drunk. And the percentage of them living in bedroom communities is roughly the same as that living in poor communities.

Eeeew. Deli tuna salad is something to be avoided at any price.

My brothers and I used to visit the Florida relatives in similar "gated" communities. Never any question of walking to the clubhouse or marina or just "around."

Try that in an aging condo complex in Whitehall with its own block watch.

My parents taught me not to act like a bum. Catholic school drilled it home.
You know better than to think I'm blind to middle class alcoholism. But in my world, it's not public, unless a motor vehicle is involved.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know your basic line.

However some days you are fairly rational and others (like today) you leap into every conversation ready to beat down the Jews, the blacks, and so on and so forth.

Seems like you are in a bad mood.

Sorry for asking.

I think the PC term is "vigilance."
Most of the "victims" are white males between ages 16 and 30.
Hilliard has a real fetish about seizing drug paraphernalia.

By the way, for the record, just as George is in over his head when he starts to discuss the breadth of my posterior, you are pretty ignorant of both the quality and quantity of my sex life. And the size of my bank account.

So--I do think it fair to call that a straw man argument.

Actually, virtually never in a bad mood. Just spending more time arguing with you guys that I intended.

I keep repeating my mantra, because I understand the cause and effect. You don't because the culture you grew up in wasn't as big of a contrast to American culture as mine his. However, and I think you will agree, that Scandanavian culture has a lot of the same elements I bring out here as well. Scandanavians aren't as hung up on sex as Catholics are (or traditionally were).

As to the Jews, they deserve to be called out.

As to the blacks, ditto. They are a wasted resource - getting them up to speed is not only better for them, it's also better for the rest of us. Coddling them and accepting lower standards for their performance does nobody good.

Even at Katzinger's I wouldn't go for tuna salad.

My grandmother taught me to make Swedish meatballs. She explained that her mother would send her to the butcher with instructions to get ground beef--with a little pork ground in. This didn't have much to do with the flavor of the meat balls. It was the way to ensure that you got the beef ground fresh where you could see what was going into it.

Moral--be careful of mixed products if you don't know what's in them.

Tuna salad, potato salad, macaroni salad, all seem to be highly personalized recipes. Everybody likes it the way that their mother made it. Other people's recipes are likely to have unwanted items hidden somewhere inside.

I worked in a sub shop as a second job when I was just out of college. Believe me, I've seen how things are done. I guess I just accepted it and don't think about it.
As for variations on recipes, Jersey Mike's is the best tuna in town and tuna is the ONLY thing I'll eat at Subway.
