It wouldn't have been a "fatal" crash if she hadn't died...
Who writes these headlines?

Good catch. It's the first thing I thought of, too.

How did they report she was 39...then state that police would not release her age or address.
I think this was someone's 2nd grade project.

They didn't report the age of the other driver. The deceased was 39.

That makes since let's make fun of a headline where there was a fatal crash and a woman did die. Who cares how the headline reads. Woman dies in crash, woman dies in fatal crash same difference.

Agreed. Besides, there was more than one person involved in the crash - a woman and a man. So therefore, the headline isn't exactly wrong. It just specifies the gender of the person who was the "fatality". The bigger question is...what happened to the male?

Not much info in this story. There is a traffic light at that intersection. Did someone run it? Was alcohol involved? Was the woman wearing a seat belt? Not very good reporting.

A little more respect - no, she was not intoxicated, was turning left through the light, and was hit by the oncoming car which knocked her into a telephone pole. She never recovered, never was married, never had children. These are lives you are so easily tossing around in your statements
