If such an organized team manages to take out a few neighborhood kids by mistake, that's OK by you, eh?
If the kids are casing homes sure exterminate them.

The lack of DNA on the weapon is rather inconsequential. But, Z's claim is that Trayvon used both hands to smother him--covering both his mouth and (bleeding) nose. Unrealistic to suppose no transfer of blood/DNA to his hands with all those ready bodily fluids there.
The evidence which you consider circumstantial contradicts Z's story. It is much easier to rule out a story as impossible than it is to support one. Z. is lying and the evidence shows it.
What we are left with then is the gun, the body and the shell casing. And Zimmerman's admission that he shot him.
Re-read what the DNA experts said, above:

"They also agreed that Trayvon wouldn’t necessarily get DNA under his fingernails, even if he had punched Zimmerman."

That is what intelligent people recognize as "reasonable doubt."

No solid conclusion may be drawn from any of the DNA evidence.
None.

<quoted text>You've obviously never been married if you're asking that question. She lied about a PayPal balance...not the right thing to do, but she was protecting her husband. And let's not forget, since 1998, perjury hasn't been considered the crime it once was. Chalk that up to another "contribution" made by Bill Clinton to posterity.
BTW--that particular lie wasn't actually protecting her husband, it was protecting the money. And then there was that extra passport, and the out-of-state location.

All the elements of a plan to flee the country.

Just saying how the jury will hear/have heard about the self-defense claim, without Zimmerman necessarily having to take the stand to claim it himself.
The jury is being abundantly cautioned during the selection process, and no doubt will be again during the judge's instructions, that any information beyond what was presented in court is not to be considered.

The defense would be foolish to rely upon outside information. They will have to present a case and follow the rules of evidence.

Did you listen to the tape? You can clearly hear him stop running when the dispatcher said "we don't need you to do that" and he said "OK" there is absolutely no evidence that he was "going after" Martin after that time.
Well, there is the location of his flashlight--far afield from where he says he went, and well out of the path of a simple return to his truck.

OK, the DNA evidence fails to prove the state's case.

Now you think a flashlight's location will be the clincher that proves Zimmerman did not act in self-defense?

Still confused?
It is the state which has to present a case proving its charges beyond a reasonable doubt.

Punching is quite different from the two-handed smothering that Z. describes.

There is no doubt, reasonable or otherwise, that George Zimmerman shot and killed Trayvon Martin.

Those experts [one of whom regularly testifies for prosecutors] reviewed the DNA evidence and concluded that it carried no weight with respect to the charges.

Calling into question a narrative is not the same as proving the charges.
