The DNA specialist poknted out that while some surfaces, like that of a gun, can easily lose touch DNA, that fabric is very absorbant and holds both blood and DNA very well.
BTW, in the same weather conditions, Martin's blood and DNA were found on Zimmerman's sleeve and shoulder.
Fits with Martin being over Zimmerman when the shot was fired. So does the fact that the clothes were powder burned (means that the gun was close to the clothes) but the skin was not (meaning that there was a significant gap between Martin's clothes and his skin (like he was leaning over Zimmerman and his clothes hung off of him).

Reasonable doubt.

She wants us to think that while Martin was seen moving his arms in a punching motion, none of those punches connected because he (Goode) didn't actually SEE or HEAR them connect.

But as Duke made me point out, just because they didn't connect doesn't mean it wasn't an assault...

I am not saying that Trayvon was making a drug cocktail, just stating facts that the media seems to not want to report. Before anyone goes crazy, I am aware that Arizona is famous for tea but it also makes other drinks.
How is that relevant to this case, bubba? Sweet tea, watermelon, or orange juice... WTF! You people are speculating on what Martin may have been trying to do ( make a drug cocktail) which has absolutely NOTHING to do with Zimmerman playing detective vigilante that night. Check out his "original story" he told the cops. He said he was getting "beat up", not in fear for his life. Furthermore, that lame Hollywood movie line he claims Martin said, "You got a problem now, you gonna die tonight", doesn't sound rational for a weaponless teen to say to someone in a vehicle following at night! That line is total BS!!

More to the story:
O’Mara on Tuesday released each version. Corey’s office is expected to release them in the next few days.
They reveal that Serino and his supervisors made several changes but only two major ones.
The first was the change in the charges.
The second was a strongly worded section condemning Zimmerman’s actions, pointing out that there was no need for a confrontation with Martin.

“The encounter between George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin was ultimately avoidable by Zimmerman if Zimmerman had remained in his vehicle and awaited the arrival of law enforcement or conversely if he had identified himself to Martin as a concerned citizen and initiated dialog in an effort to dispel each party’s concern. There is no indication that Trayvon Martin was involved in any criminal activity at the time of the encounter.”

The witnesses also changed some of their original statements.

- Witness 2: A young woman who lives in the Retreat at Twin Lakes community, where Martin was shot, was interviewed twice by Sanford police and once by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
She told authorities that she had taken out her contact lenses just before the incident. In her first recorded interview with Sanford police four days after the shooting, she told lead Investigator Chris Serino, "I saw two guys running. Couldn't tell you who was in front, who was behind."
She stepped away from her window, and when she looked again, she "saw a fistfight. Just fists. I don't know who was hitting who."
A week later, she added a detail when talking again to Serino: During the chase, the two figures had been 10 feet apart.

- Witness 12: A young mother who is also a neighbor in the town-home community never gave a recorded interview to Sanford police, according to prosecution records released last week. She first sat down for an audio-recorded interview with an FDLE agent March 20, more than three weeks after the shooting.
During that session, she said she saw two people on the ground immediately after the shooting and was not sure who was on top, Zimmerman or Martin.
"I don't know which one.... All I saw when they were on the ground was dark colors," she said.
Six days later, however, she was sure: It was Zimmerman on top, she told trial prosecutor Bernie de la Rionda during a 2-minute recorded session.
"I know after seeing the TV of what's happening, comparing their sizes, I think Zimmerman was definitely on top because of his size," she said.

- Witness 6: This witness lived a few feet from where Martin and Zimmerman had their fight. On the night of the shooting, he told Serino he saw a black man on top of a lighter-skinned man "just throwing down blows on the guy, MMA-style," a reference to mixed martial arts.
He also said the one calling for help was "the one being beat up," a reference to Zimmerman.
But three weeks later, when he was interviewed by an FDLE agent, the man said he was no longer sure which one called for help.
"I truly can't tell who, after thinking about it, was yelling for help just because it was so dark out on that sidewalk," he said.
He also said he was no longer sure Martin was throwing punches. The teenager may have simply been keeping Zimmerman pinned to the ground, he said.
He did not equivocate, though, about who was on top.
"The black guy was on top," he said.(John Good).

- Witness 13: He is important because he talked with Zimmerman and watched the way he behaved immediately after the shooting, before police arrived.
After this neighbor heard gunfire, he went outside and spotted Zimmerman standing there with "blood on the back of his head," he told Sanford police the night of the shooting.
Zimmerman told him that Martin "was beating up on me, so I had to shoot him," the witness told Serino. The Neighborhood Watch captain then asked the witness to call his wife, Shellie Zimmerman, and tell her what happened.
In two subsequent interviews about a month later — one with an FDLE investigator and one with de la Rionda — the witness described Zimmerman's demeanor in greater detail, adding that he spoke as if the shooting were no big deal.
Zimmerman's tone, the witness said, was "not like 'I can't believe I just shot someone!'— it was more like,'Just tell my wife I shot somebody ...,' like it was nothing."

It's clear to me that at some point Martin started running with Zimmerman in hot pursuit. Zimmerman originally stated that Martin attacked him while he was returning to his truck. Does anyone remember that story? Many of you claimed that version of the story initially.

Views from around the web:

Media exposure has its impact, and we will never know at this point what happened. Zimmerman may even believe his own story. But I have a hard time reconciling someone who has a gun, who was told NOT to chase the kid, with a story of self defense. Maybe at that point, he *was* afraid, because Martin was beating him or something. But he should NOT have chased him once the dispatcher told him not to. That poor decision, based on who knows what, has unleashed a chain of events that has changed everyone's life there. Sad.

Nothing like a reliable witness. They will all be torn apart on the stand as worthless with worthless testimony.
We are no closer to knowing the truth today then the day it happened.
EXCEPT Zimmerman should not have pursued the boy once the police dispatcher told him not to.
That in and of itself makes him the aggressor and the boy afraid for his life.
Ultimately I think it sounds like Travon opened a can whoop --- on Zimmerman and Zimmerman being a tuff talking bully wouldnt allow that to happen so he took the cowards way out by using a gun in a fist fight knowing all along he could "claim" self defense abusing a very good law designed for law abiding citizens.
I also think Zimmerman is a liar and he will get what he deserves.

One reason they KNOW Zimmerman lied about being jumped from behind while returning to his truck BESIDES the Investigator's Statements is the testimony of the Girl who was on the phone with Trayvon when Zimmerman confronted Trayvon:
The girl, whose name has not been made public,
told Assistant State Attorney Bernie de la Rionda:
"Martin got away from the man, who turned out to be Zimmerman, but only temporarily.
He was out of breath from running away, and scared, she said, and decided not to keep running because he was close to the house where he was staying.
And as Zimmerman drew closer, the girl said, Martin called out," Why you following me for?" **according to the recording**.
"I hear this man, like this old man, say,'What are you doing around here?' " the girl said.
The girl said she called out to Martin, asking what was happening, but he didn't answer. The next thing she heard was a bumping sound, followed by what might have been a scuffle.
"I could hear it a little bit,'Get off, get off,' then the phone just hung up," the girl said

The words, "Why are you following me FOR ?", spoken by Martin would fit perfectly with a black urban teen who doesn't speak proper 'suburban dialect' instead of the unbelievable BS Zimmerman claimed he said about 'your going to die tonight'! He never told that to the first guy who came outside immediately after the shooting, nor did he tell that to the cops! That BS came out after he hired an attorney. Zimmerman is lying!! He was losing a fight that HE started and killed Martin because of it.

If it is ok for a grown man to shoot a kid because he's getting a few speed knots, then it would be rational for some kid to shoot your son at school for losing a fist fight!

That is the logic those who are defending Zimmerman are using!

Moreover, what ever happened to the claim that Martin had his hands over Zimmerman's mouth, smothering him, and PREVENTING him from screaming?? Another f'kin lie. Where is the evidence on Martin's hands that would substantiate that claim? There is none, because it was a lie! The fight didn't last longer than 10 seconds before Martin was killed.

Never a case??!??

There is no way Zimmerman should have confronted and killed an unarmed teenager.
I'm not sure of your reasoning.
Is there a problem with the president speaking on this subject? He knows what it's like being black in America. How dare you trivialize someone's knowledge and feelings for this case just because you don't agree with it.

Nice. Political grandstanding in the middle of professing Zimmerman's innocence. Stick to the subject.

warning to all....it does not require a sign in yard saying if you rob I shoot back. Expect exactly that, when robbing homes.
This is not the issue here.

A criminal act to the extent of one being shot in the chest was not being committed by Trayvon. So how in the blue hell is Zimmerman's killing, justified? He's a fkn neighborhood watchman, nothing more...He doesn't have that kind of authority... I don't want my neighborhood watch person thinking he's a fkn green beret...His job was to call the police when he sees danger, not go out like Charles fkn Bronson.

<quoted text>It's interesting that the autopsy findings were recently changed. Is that what you're calling pathetic? Or was your general anger at life directed at me for posting the fact, which was in the news?
My reasoning for this pathetic display is quite simple...A bullet in this young child's chest was highly unnecessary.

If you think that it was, then you are as pathetic as Zimmerman's judgement.

if you....you are getting raped or you butt kicked, you can use lethal force to protect yourself.

in this instance we have a guy who is taking his turn as neighborhood watch. Do you suppose that is peeping at the MILFs while showering?

Neighborhood watch......so he asks a kid what he is doing, and next his head is banging on concrete.

Why did it escalate to that?
why any punching or beating or shooting?
why would you confront without answering?

an answer to a simple question would have been much better.

PS: if you think homeowners don't possess the authority to organize and protect their own community, then you must be from NY or LA.
