Reader probably had to be put on life support after she most likely had a liberal meltdown and massive stroke.

Black Rhino has probably induced himself into a skunk weed blunt coma. He will emerge in a week or so when his check runs out and he sobers up.

Travesty of justice. Money-grubbing, gun-toting, ignorant heifer.
This juror just decided not to publish a book, due to the protests.....
Others will though, I'm sure.

The only reason half of you make a big deal out of this is because of gun control. The other half are just racist and a hard on for zimmermans verdict. Why do none of you lefty's make big deal out of it when cops shoot unarmed citizens? I understand zimmerman was racially profiling, but isn't our prison population evidence that the police do the same? We are all treated like we've been involved in some sort of criminal activity in a routine traffic stop. Isn't that the same as zimmerman following and shooting martin because he "looked like he was up to no good" ?
Florida gets it wrong, again. Now we all need to fear private citizens with conceal carry permits the same way we do the cops? And how does it work when they are both legal carriers? Is it a matter of who draws first? Why didn't Florida make an example of this guys irresponsible behavior ?

you need to fear CCW citizens much more than the Police.

the Police are hand cuffed with politics. They shoot beanbags.

I want racism to end but almost as much I want to stop being told by whites that it has. I want every white person I ever complain to about the years of piling slights, the extra hours at airport security, the half-seen glances from across the bus from eyes that fearfully refuse to meet mine, to respond with compassion and credulity and not to even think about explaining them away or ‘informing’ me that racism died with Rosa Park or MLK or whatever and they would know. I want white people to stop questioning my experience of racism, to stop defending every offender as ‘just doing his job’ or ‘just doing whatever.’ I want the excuses and the explanations to stop. I know where they come from. I know you feel accussed. I know you feel that you are not racist (after all, you have that black friend and your maternal grandmother is Chinese). I know you think I’m being too sensitive or too quick to judge (after all, he didn’t call me a ni#$$r and you didn’t notice any racism and you would know). I know that you feel like affirmative action gives me a leg up because you work just as hard and where’s your quota? I know it’s easier to pretend that racism is a thing of the past because you can get by just fine doing that so why can’t I? But here’s the thing: it’s not about you. You are not the one who is slurred, you’re not the one who is refused service, and you’re certainly not the one who is shot in the street. It’s about us. I want you to acknowlegde that fact. To recognise that I experience racism."

Rhino has been raging on the main Zimmerman thread, but eeven more incoherently than usual. Reader is lurking...we've seen her unique iconography...but she's apparently too afraid to comment.

The most racist people I interact with happen to be black. I see the racism from a different angle. The glances made toward me. The comments made at me. Until the ones who use race as an excuse to blame others change their ways, we will continue to have race issues. Yes some idiots are racist unfortunately. We need to be the ones who step above these haters and tell them it's a persons character that counts not their looks. Lead by example. Just make sure it's the right one. Take responsibility for personal actions. Do not just lump everyone together by looks. As for vindication, more black youths are killed by black youths in this nation where is your outrage? We need condemnation for this not just when a "white" person is involved. Also listen to GZ's actual 911 call. Tell me where he went wrong and where race played a part.

That's a great post.

A young 16 year old Black Male named Isaiah Giles was just murdered in Columbus this week and there has been zero outrage in the Black Community or by Black so called leadership.

"These punks always get away", Naw he wasn't referring to those blacks who are reported to be the ones doing break-ins, in his gated community. Nope! Not them! He was referring to those mean ole nasty Amish kids who always get away. Yep! They be the ones!

And that's tragic but it happens all too often. Rallys and marches take place, youth organizations try to reach as many kids they can to discuss this gang violence in black communities. Blacks are tired of not getting 100% support from law enforcement, but then again it's the youth who has this culture of thuggishness and a code of no snitching. And there's the problem of the guns. Where are they getting these guns from? It's incorrect to say blacks are not outraged. You're making aassumptions solely based on what you don't see reported on the news.

They'll report black crime rates and killings all day but rarely do they report on efforts to prevent it or the people who are reaching kids to stop the madness.

OMG Hi Rick!
I always wondered how you were doing.
What's been going on? It's been a long time since we talked.
No, I don't see anyone anymore. In fact I just started posting again just recently. I wasn't on for a long while.
Needed a break, if you know what I mean.
Hope life is treating you good.

I have been alright, I checked in from time to time but never saw anybody from the old days.
Sorry I missed out on the lunches you folks had. I did meet the man that volunteered so much and his daughter for lunch one day.
My friend from Florida is gone now and I miss her greatly but life goes on.
Stay in touch friend.
