"Pope Francis on Thursday urged "mercy" for homosexuals, divorced people and women who have abortions, saying the Catholic Church had to show understanding for the real conditions of people's lives."

Seems kind of harsh toward the gays and aborters.

Well, although its not the Pope's "place to judge homosexuals, aborters, or divorcees", but fortunately for everyone here in Ohio, we have the Columbus Topix bigotry squad ready and willing to step in and take charge of those tasks, despite their not being asked to by the Pope.

The Pope isn't speaking from a position of infallibility. You never seem to understand that Catholics can disagree with him on anything that's not dogma.
Try again, douche.

Cite the dogma that permits you, as a Catholic in good standing with the Church, to judge others outside of a jury box.

I've posted this a dozen times before and you never listen:

The judgment Christians are to refrain from is judgment concerning the eternal fate of anyone. Leave intentions, motives, and final worth to God. We are not to confuse the judgment of the actions of people with sitting in judgment over them as to their eternal fate. But reluctance to make judgments concerning sinful acts is to produce that type of paralysis and inactivity that has brought both contemporary society and American Catholics to their present plight.

When you see me telling anyone that they are destined for hell, you let me know, douche.

Poor douche...

I. THE JUDGMENT OF CONSCIENCE

1777 Moral conscience,48 present at the heart of the person, enjoins him at the appropriate moment to do good and to avoid evil. It also judges particular choices, approving those that are good and denouncing those that are evil.49

Says an atheist, Catholic-bashing piece of debris?

What did Jesus mean when he said not to judge others?

1) Not a cover for immoral behavior in general

2) Not even a cover for sexual misbehavior

3) Not a prohibition on admonishing others

4) Not an endorsement of moral relativism

No. You are a organ grinder's monkey.

I don't judge you because you are divorced.

Are you in particular, approved of by the Catholic Church as the "moral conscience" as the arbiter of what is proper, or not?

I think not, Paco.

No Paco, I'm pointing out that the passage from your religion's Catechism does not say what you are claiming it says.

Find me the portion that states that you are free to judge others. Keep in mind, I know how to work a computer as well.

Keep in mind, that you aren't "getting it." We ought to condemn immoral behavior. Love the sinner, hate the sin sort of thought.

Meow.
