The supreme court ruled that the government can require you to purchase products just because you exist, or face penalty.

That means in theory that the government could mandate that all households own and train with firearms, or face more taxes.

I feel that few liberals would agree with that.

Look at the overall picture, people. Do you not see history repeating itself? You have 4 years of results from Obama. That is what is in the here and now. Obama has been caught living lies that our government employees are paying for with their lives. He has promised to destroy mining with bankruptcy and darn near has. He is standing in Hilliard, OH telling them of all he has done to help the north east . 3 days later, no heat, no gas for generators, no food and no home, no clothes. Idiots standing there cheering his lies on.

B.O.'s "You're all fire-up" is key. Everything with him is YOU. As long as you give all and let him take the rest, you will either be asking for your check or determine that you should have asked when all the promises of 4 yrs. ago will appear.

Mitt Romney is a business builder and knows who else builds businesses. Our nation needs this most.

You really are a stupid Loon! Romney does not create jobs!!! He gets a loan from a bank after he has a companies assets are determined. He then gets the money, have a company downsize, breaks it up, sells pieces to foreign countries, gives the bills to the company he was supposed to help, takes a 10% cut for himself, then waits for the business to fail! That is not a good business man, and it's obvious you know nothing about how companies work. Mitt is a corporate raider, vulture capitalist, who 'breaks up' companies, and outsource the pieces for a huge fee!!!

While CEO of Bain Capital, Mitt Romney said the firm "harvested" the companies in which it invested to produce a "significant profit," according to a new video obtained by Mother Jones.

The video of Romney, who made the remarks in 1985, was part of a CD-ROM produced in 1998 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Bain & Company. In the video, Romney says, "Bain Capital is an investment partnership which was formed to invest in startup companies and ongoing companies, then to take an active hand in managing them and hopefully, five to eight years later, to harvest them at a significant profit."

Bain Capital is in business to make a profit for its investors, so there's nothing eye-popping about promoting that fact. Financial buyers like Bain supply young companies with capital and connections, but will restructure operations and fire employees if necessary. Romney has touted his previous employer as a serious job-creator during his campaign for the presidency, saying the firm helped create "over 100,000 jobs." The statistic, which relies on some of the firms in which Bain invested, is difficult to actually prove -- it seems to include jobs created years after Bain made initial investments in companies.

Previous videos obtained by Mother Jones and The Huffington Post show Romney at a May fundraiser saying that 47 percent of Americans see themselves as "victims" who are "dependent on government." The leaked recordings have hurt the Romney campaign in swing state polls.

HuffPost's Ryan Grim and Hunter Stuart compared Bain Capital's strategy of acquiring beleaguered companies to the business model of Tony Soprano.(See video below.)

Romney is the phoniest POS I have ever seen. If he was a Democrat I would vote for his Republican opponent. He makes me want to puke for many reasons both economic and personal. If he wins the election it will prove what WC fields said a long time ago that "There is a sucker born every minute."

Chrysler was sold to an Italian firm. Their CEO announced that they do not intend to close any plants in the U.S. at this time, BUT all future expanions and manufacturing will be done in China.
Twelve months could see all Chrysler plants in the U.S. closed, or not. It is no longer and American owned company.
Everyone knows what Romney is up to.

Romney is secretive and deceptive.

The auto companies are fact-checking the creep.

The Repubs have made this election the most dishonest election that I can remember. How can people not see the lies, when Romney is on film saying one thing then on film saying the exact opposite. In Florida they are standing in 4 hr lines to vote because of the Repub Gov. Chrysler has even come out and said Romney is a liar. There is a big sign in the Wefare office that says you must work in order to recieve assistance. They are still running these ads. Romney is of the devil. If he is this dishonest, what kind of a president would he be? A very dishonest one. The Repubs have put out so much propaganda against Obama it is shamefull. Vote Obama

you are full of chit!

staples, the sports authority, both companies Romneys company bought.

keeping companies that can earn profit; and breaking apart losers to sell off scraps.

And the election results will be 53% Romney.

So how did that 47% comment hurt anything?
