Agreed. You can weed out, easily, those who are blowing smoke out of their butts eventually. If one can't keep the story straight, they're lying.
LOL That's why I have to tell the truth. That 3rd concussion in 2003 really rocked my short term memory and vocab.

Lastly, your postings here are considered public. As such, they can be subpoenaed and used against you. I am sorry that you feel the need to fight that; however, the times, they are a'changin'.
Who said I was fighting it?

There's a word, discretion. You, nor my employer, would know who I am here. And they can only pull IPs and MAC addresses for cause. I don't post from work due to two reasons: 1) no political activity allowed and 2) since I do work in IT and am fully aware of security threats (and Topix is one of the least secured sites around, my home computer has gotten a virus from it once before), I am also cognizant enough that we track internet activity and wouldn't risk this site at work. Not that I say anything here that would be cause for any legal action taken against me to begin with...

I also know what it takes, legally and technically, for them to pull those IPs and MACs. First, there has to be indication of ILLEGAL activity and two, they have to ID the computer, locate it, and prove the person who has had access to it. Since they don't have my personal computers, and I don't do illegal things on the internet, then what's you're inference here?

Thanks for implications there, WW. Should we believe your stories regarding your health then? I have, and you've had my empathy whether or not I've responded to such posts. Why then would you challenge what another says about him/herself? Seriously, that was sort of a silly tangent to go off on. Think?

And with that, I bow out of this discussion with you.

I agree. George has always been polite to me, helpful and I respect him for the meaningful discussions he brings to the forum.

He didn't start this thread. Someone jealous of him did.

The first rule of discretion is not to announce to the world that you know something you can't talk about.

You are either an idiot or a liar. My money is on the former.

You're always wrong, poser. I'm in the same position gokeefe is in as far as security clearances.

Your information can be obtained without your knowledge, and it doesn't require a suspicion of illegal activity. It used to, before the politicians created and grew Homeland Security.

Nor did I imply anything about you, particularly anything involving illegal activity and quite frankly, I resent that you are accusing me of such. ANYBODY'S PUBLIC POSTS CAN BE PULLED AT ANY TIME. In fact, when the government asked Google to provide users' search information, it was handed over without the users ever knowing it.

What does any of that have to do with cancer?

And that makes you jealous why? He owns far more than all of that. A private charter airline which I manage. A charitable founation in his mother's name, which I am on the board of. I don't own it, he does.

I've been with him 26 years. It's my job.

Again, you blather on about nothing.

There is no rule that I can't mention I have a security clearance. Do you know how many thousands of us there are in the Dayton/Columbus areas? LOL. Come back to us when you know what you're talking about. I made a bet you're a low two-digit IQ moron. I won. Odds weren't very good though, so I didn't make much.

What information? A throw-away email address used to start this account that I don't even use, forgot the password to? Wow.

Yes, that's apparent. But what information is to be shared here that I haven't already PUBLICLY shared? That I am WILLING to share? Read. between. the. lines.

Again, what posts? What information? You are implying that I have said things here that I should be paranoid about. PUBLIC is just THAT. I'm quite smart enough to render decisions about how and what to reveal...

Re-read what you posted. It implied a lot with this statement:

No, my point was proven.
You're not enough of a challenge to be an enemy. Left on my own, without attacks from 'the gang', I'd never say and unkind word on here.

And I've never lied or exaggerated.

Mispoken or mistaken the facts, yes, every once in awhile. And immediatley acknowledged it.

You see, in my business and family, ethics count.

Whoa, Nellie! The only one who used the words 'getting state secrets from the president' was YOU, and sarcastically at that.
And no, SL was not holding her husband's clearance over anyone's head. MILLIONS of Americans have them.
And since when is defending yourself or your friends 'going after somebody?' You've got the wrong girl.
And I've never said of implied I was any better than anyone else.
If my background intimidates you, that's on you. I'm not changing my life.
Yes, I let loose on Reader for three of her, in my opinion, ridiculous stances, which she has stated over and over. She's welcome to her choices in life, and I am free to state when I don't agree.
Actually, you have very haughtily mentioned that your husband, GoKeefe, George and Kosmik had federal security clearances when going after someone. Who cares?

Here's the truth: I believe little of what you say and what I do believe, I believe to be embellished. I don't think you are a harmful person, though, and I think you have compassion so I really haven't said much about it (unlike others). I don't know if I would invite you to a party or not - well, maybe, if it was a fundraiser. Your background and/or lifestyle doesn't intimidate me whatsoever, so no worries there. I dislike braggarts, though. And the recreational shooting of guns by children while praising the resurrection of Jesus Christ just about sent me over the edge.

Now that I am your enemy, I know where I stand. But as a non-Christian, I ask you to note that I never once took sides to divide people up as enemies. You, the practicing Christian, did that.
