Noen of that whiskey/bourbon for me. They don't call it a "bottle of loudmouth" down there for no good reason.
I don't drink it often. I do like one on the rocks every now and again. Picked up the habit when my kid was doing undergrad down at UKentucky. It's definitely not Jim Beam IMHO.

Personally I'd prefer a nice brown ale or on a cold night a porter.
Do you ever make it out to Barley's Smokehouse? They brew their own ales there. Good drinkin'!

Wimpy cigarettes, spook. I smoked camel nonfilters for 25 years.
My dad too, Rowdy! I used to swipe them. I'm glad he smoked them. They had NOTHING to do with his early death and he enjoyed it.

Real men smoke unfiltered camels. Period.

Scotch smooth drinking straight or on the rocks.

Makers Mark is good and like Scotch should never be ruined by adding a carbonated cornsyrup concoction.

Spookerini, we are tough broads! If you can handle it, Glitter can. And me too. In fact, I'm going to plant tobacco this summer and we're gonna roll our own. Yeah, that's the ticket.

I don't drink liquor. Unless it's a white Russian or a hurriane. And wine kills me, although I like it.

Yes I do. It's been about a year since I've been there but when I lived in Grandview it was a weekly (at least) destination. They had an Imperial Stout and an Ox (Named after John Entwistle)Brown Ale that was to die for.
They also have a location on N. High. Right up in that area there was, I hope it still exists, an English style pub that was great to go for brunch. Their Scottish eggs were great.
Their East Coast pale ale is great stuff. I always down 2-3 when I get over that way.

It's good sipping whiskey. I don't care for any drink that has to be sweetened, including coffee. Which BTW, Maker's is excellent in coffee.

I haven't had a Blue Moon in awhile. Will have to remember that.

Also like the Great Lakes brews. Like the Elliot Ness and the Burning River Pale Ale.

I good dark roasted Coffee is best when served hot, strong and without additives. If one has to put cream sugar cinnamon etc in coffe then they are not a coffee drinker or it is bad coffee.

As for sipping whiskey I know a West Virginian that makes some smooth and clear, you have to provide your own jug though.

Well I do like some milk in my coffee. But other than that, don't mess with my coffee, and the stronger, the better.

Is your West Virginian friend distilling some kind of Everclear?

No everclear is for.cutting shellac. This stuff is smooth, though not for sun burned lips or if you hVe an inferior liver. If aged in oak barrels it would pick some color.

It depends on the Scotch...single malts are great, especially long aged, ones.

As far as sipping whiskey, Jameson's or Old Bushmill's Irish whiskeys are incredible.

Makers Mark is great but Woodford Reserve has it hands down and Old Charter 12 year old is the smoothest, most economical Bourbon I've ever had.

I like that drop of red vermouth, shaken over ice and garnished with a cherry (a manhattan) Once a year I go to Cleveland to a place called DelMonico's, get a 3/4 inch, medium rare steak and a few of their Manhattans....what a night out.

Glitter, you've sided with the rats, I'm sorry, I can't hold respect for you and I've gotten to the point where I'll play fire against fire so you and I may be at odds, only over the a-holes you've sided with.

I like you, always have but if you're with them, well, where are you with me? I told you I understood the reader feud was out of my reach and I trusted you. You don't seem to return that same respect.
