You're nuts. He gave her a way to save the marriage. You do realize that there are some extremely dependent people out there without any boundaries, right? Where should the non-drinker's responsibility lie? He can't sober up for her! Yeah, can find a detox place, go to therapy, whatever...but ultimately, she was the one who had to sober up and remain sober. Why should George have not expected her to own her own behavior/alcoholism and address it? Even in marriage, there are boundaries: his behavior and hers.
Paco lied about that entire scenario here...pretending he didn't want the divorce.

Utter bullshitt.

Hey Paco...here's a little news for you: Landlords who own rental properties do not only make money off of the monthly rent, and the vast majority of landlords do indeed pass on increases in recurring costs such as property taxes to their tenants.
I know you don't like truth, so that's nothing new here.

Mr. McGreevey, a man in a position to know, says differently in the case of the last Cleveland school levy, douche. I'll take his word over yours every time.

It's a shame that you keep lying out of hate, douche. Your life must be incredibly empty.

I can't read George's mind. But I can tell you from personal experience, there is only so much the non-addict can deal with. I didn't want one either, but he also refused treatment. There, you now have the rest of the possible story. Maybe you are running on an overly active imagination due to your dislike of George? The world doesn't revolve the way YOU want it to!

Spot on. Duke's hate utterly consumes him at times. Imagine being 54 and carrying that around...over a Topix poster, no less.
Someone or something damaged the "lawyer" at some point.

It's gotta be the water in the Cakron area or playing too much ping pong with Che?

My god, I can just imagine the abyss you drove that poor man into.

Actually I can't, the inhumanity of it is too overwhelming.

Sigh. We've already been over this. Our culture does not value ALL human life. We have the death penalty. In our society, people with an extraordinary amount of money get extraordinary medical care while people who lack decent monetary funds often go without. You can try to say our culture values all human life, but you'd be lying, or utterly naive.
Another miss.
Culture is not the arbiter of morality.
Hence, universal truth.

Che is pitching a hissy fit.
As s/he should.
Pretty sad when a non-atheist has to spoonfeed atheistic philosophy to a self-proclaimed atheist.

Hissy fit? How so? And who defines "atheistic philosophy?" You? The whole point of being without a religion is the ability to think for oneself and not being beholden to any particular cult.

Fortunately, there is no need since I don't have to listen to the shrill idiocy that is Gokeefe on a daily basis.

There exists no distinct moral code that is synonymous with atheism.
To claim that an atheist subscribes to objective morality is irrational.

Not true. I simply don't need an invisible man in the sky to tell a bunch of ancient tribal people how to live for me to know right from wrong.

Upon what standard you define right and wrong?
