Morality cannot exist absent an objective standard.
Again, I offer you this concrete example of your atheistic relativism in action:
-- You believe a woman has the right to kill her baby in utero because the woman's life has more value than that of her child.
-- I believe that abortion is a moral wrong because all human life has equal value.
Even more devastating to Muff's argument:

She believes a woman's lifestyle, finances and convenience to have more value than the life of her child.

The article "6 Valuable Lessons From One Night Stands" (linked below) illustrates what is so odious about skanks and the liberated skank mentality.

Most interesting are the comments to this article.

My favorite comment was deleted: It was something to the effect of letting people squirt into you and turning yourself into a human toilet.

The author felt compelled to respond to all of us closed-minded people who felt the need to make comments:

"Has it ever once occurred to you that women like casual sex, too? And that not every single one of us wants a relationship with every guy we sleep with?"

Where you involved in Christianity at one point in your life but became disillusioned and "lost" your faith?
Why do you attack the Bible but state you would be willing to follow the Koran insofar as wearing a burka or hijab if you had accompanied your then boyfriend to the Middle East?
You seem so inconsistent.
I never said I would have worn a burka had I gone overseas. I wouldn't have, nor would I have been made to. Women were asked to dress conservatively insofar as not showing shoulders, legs or wearing small straps...all things I would adhere to when I go to work minus the legs part.

I don't attack the bible. I bring up inconsistencies within it, of which there are more than 700. Should these just be ignored? You may if you wish, but I find them to be a cause to question the basis of that particular religion. I'm also not Jewish or a Muslim or anything else. I have major issues with their religions as well.

I don't believe faith is something you can lose. I was never disillusioned with religion, I just became more aware of the world and did a lot of research. People attack atheists and say they are lost souls or trying to be rebels when none of that is true. Most people who become atheist do so because they have a belief that one religion or another is illogical and atheism is more pragmatic. There's nothing wrong with the idea of believing in god. It's people who often pervert religion.

This is too easy, folks.
You're wrong again (quite a day for you being wrong so much!). I was a Christian for half of my life. Being hypocritical is something you know very well of...you exhibit it every day.

I think I understand it better than you ever will.

Key word: believe. You can believe what you like and I can believe what I like. Your belief is not better than mine and mine is not better than yours. All these require a shared belief of "child" and "life." You have beliefs that I find immoral. I'm sure you'd disagree, but that's your right to believe so.

So, with that said, we can go round and round but the truth still stands that morality exists without religion.

I've said for a while that many leftists wish they were Muslim, and probably for that matter black. They've internalized the "other" narrative of the "noble people of color" along with "the evil white Christian man" represented by us.
You've said several things "for a while" that haven't panned out, Karl.

Chalk up a couple more.

Oh, wait...you rent.
Yes Paco, no Pony...no kids in the system.

Poor Paco...takes the whining of the leader of a landlord's association at face value without questioning it.

I wonder how many of the members of that association derive the largest percentage of their incomes from section 8 vouchers?

I wonder how many of them hide their rental income from the IRS, and state and local taxing authorities?

I wonder how many of them would be willing to release the income histories of their individual rental units to determine whether they have or have not raised their rents in response to income tax increases?

I wonder if Paco really went to college?

Wow...douche the renter is so pissed at my post and Mr. McGreevy backing me up that he issues a blanket indictment of landlords.
I wonder what kind of "lawyer" does that?
