Apparently that went over your tiny head. You know if any of you said the things you say on here to a black man you'd more than likely see the end of a fist. That's why you hide behind Topix.

Read what Paul said in Corinthians about abandonment.
I love when atheists try and play the Scripture card...their innate foolishness is exposed.

So Paul overrides Jesus? Interesting...

I'm not playing a card. It's your religion. Either you abide by the rules set forth by Christ or you don't. If you say a mere mortal overrides the teachings of Christ, you aren't a Christian.

Your ignorance is astounding. Paul covers ground that Jesus did not. The authors of the Bible were inspired by God and Christians believe that through these works, God communicates his truth.

You just don't get it and you look like an idiot.

Yeah, it's the person who gets confused by God communicating through the writings of humans that looks an idiot.

That explains the fear of the school board.

Hey Paco...Big Johnson mentioned this the other day. You do realize that on the day you work up the courage to confront the board, you won't have a pony running in their race, right?

You call almost $8000 in annual property taxes "no pony"?

You really are a cretin.

Rental property is subject to property taxes too. Where do you suppose landlords get the money to pay their taxes?

Is that right, moron?

Ultimately, the market determines rents, Swanson said. Owners will try to pass as many costs on to renters as possible, including property taxes, but it’s not always possible, she said.

That has certainly been the case in Cleveland since voters approved raising property taxes 50 percent for schools last year, said Ralph McGreevy, the executive vice president of the Northeast Ohio Apartment Association. Most Cleveland landlords had to eat the property-tax increase, he said.

“Let me be brutally honest with you,” McGreevy said.“If you tried to pass on every cost that came your way, no one would live in your buildings.”

Ralph McGreevy sounds like almost as big a crybaby serial victim as you. It figures you would quote him.

No wonder no one ever builds or buys rental properties since they all lose money.

Poor Johnson...I hand him his ass and he wails with rage at a reputable source in Cleveland who dares to confirm my point.

And if you aren't making a profit (charging more than your costs), you won't be in business very long.

The person who looks like an idiot is the person who says the word of god is final. So unless there's someplace in the bible where god said, "Hey, that whole 'let no man tear asunder thing? Don't worry about it'" then I guess it's just another case of the bible not only contradicting itself, but Christians deciding which of god's laws they should follow.

The bible, including the part written by Paul, goes into how you should try your hardest to keep your marriage together and turn to god. I'm guessing you didn't fight too hard for your marriage to stay in tact, given that you apparently gave your ex-wife an ultimatum.

Then again, it's your business and you'll be the one who has to answer to god when your time on earth is over. And I'm sure you'll have a lot to answer for.

I gave an ultimatum that stated, "Get sober or don't live here." I also specifically said to her that I would not divorce her.
Your atheism is wavering, dear...otherwise how do I have anything to answer for to a god who you say doesn't exist?
