Not really. It just proves you can't articulate yourself in an intelligent and civil manner. That's a sign of low intelligence and a lack of class.

1. George understands the concepts of friendship, integrity, and maintaining his boundaries. I highly respect and admire people who keep their boundaries and can present intelligent discussion and challenge others but maintain his humanity. Che has not once shown that she has that side. She has a habit of immediately damning people out of the gate for opinions she disagrees with and her pure nastiness and rudeness.
2. Che hasn't revealed much of herself other than "power trips"--telling us she's a lawyer, attempting to dominate others--George does not do that. He's in fact gone out of his way to show his friendship and generosity, in ways you will never know.
3. Che hasn't shown a desire to be friendly. Her only desire seems to be to exude negativity and make enemies. No desire to build trust or credibility.
How's that?
George is quite the same. I've even tried in the past to engage him civilly and he always resorts to ad hominem attacks. Always. I've tried to be understanding of some of his issues regarding his marriage and not hit under the belt - a consideration he has not ever extended to me. Same with Catman Dave. I've read about whatever issues he has dealt with and any time we had engaged in an unproductive manner, I never used those issues against him and instead resorted to kindness, which has paid off because he is kind to me in return and we now speak civilly to each other.

I'm not saying that others on here, including Che, Duke, et al haven't resorted to these same kind of tactics. But you cannot say that George is free of these criticisms and sometimes goes too far. Some of his own friends have even admitted that.

Untrue. I'm an atheist and do not hate god. I do not hate Christians. Many of my friends are Christians and I respect their beliefs and sometimes even participate in religious ceremonies with them. What I resent is people trying to criticize me for my non-belief and claiming that without god, there can be no morality. That is untrue.

Here's an old favorite, but I didn't write it:

He said "I admit,
I'm a bit of a sh!t.

Odd that you mention it. I just had a conversation with a low-income black man who said he would never go into Detroit proper. He considers them "ghetto trash", too, and doesn't want to be mixed up with them. So tell me - does he get a pass because he's black? I assure you he feels the same way about protecting his family against crime.
No, he doesn't get a pass. As they say, if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem. My stance has always been that people complain about the "ghetto trash" as you call them, but no one wants to put any effort into lending a helping hand, uplifting the community, etc. Instead they sit back, criticize and condemn. Not everyone who lives in Detroit proper is trash. There are many people down there who are down on their luck, have had to deal with demons and are struggling to make it back on their feet. But because of where they live, they are labeled and categorized unfairly. I won't deny that downtown Detroit is scary - it is. But when I lived in Michigan I tried to be involved in soup kitchens, clothing drives, etc. BECAUSE if I wasn't part of the solution, I was part of the problem.

I'm familiar with Bloomfield Hills, and let me tell you this: I was the recipient of white do-gooders. There are white do-gooders who serve with humility, and there are white do-gooders who serve with an air of superiority as well as pity for the recipients being - well, you know, not Caucasian. You clearly fall into the latter group, and I admit - I got no respect, speaking from personal experience while growing up. But of course, I know nothing.
You don't know what I've done or how I've acted. I'm not one to act superior to those who are less fortunate than I. Quite the contrary. Good for you for being the recipient of do-gooders in Bloomfield Hills. I still maintain that my experience, as of the last two years, was not similar. Perhaps it was a different era, perhaps just a different kind of culture than when you were there or whatever the case may have been. Most of the charity and community help I experienced came from Waterford, Keego Harbor, Clinton Township, and the like. Not exactly areas overflowing with wealth, but the people there were often present at these events.

From what I have seen, your are doing an exemplary job. Keep it up.

That limerick about Dave the Hermit is hundreds of years old. The one with George, Annie, and Bizzy, merely a few hours.

I used your screen name, thought a bit about rhyming words, and made a few jokes about your pals propensity for angry diatribes.

Heck, all your character did was have a hard time peeing.

Terrible!!!!
