According to their 2011 tax records, 41% of their funds were dedicated to marketing & advertising
In 2010, Wayne Pacelle stated that HSUS had about 50 lawyers of the 636 total employees. The White House had 454 employees in 2011!
HSUS recently deposited more than $11 million in its executive pension funds
HSUS has $32.7 million invested in Wall Street hedge funds
HSUS is using your donations for their defense against charges of corruption in federal court

People need to know this BEFORE donating.

Dude, you are sadly desperate. Tip bragged that he does more volunteer work in a week than others do in a decade and Duke asked him what he did and then Tip clammed up. Your demand that Duke say where he went to college would only be analogous if Duke had bragged that his college education was superior to anyone else's.
Get it? Perhaps you should have taken some critical thinking or logic courses, oh so many years ago.
Here's what your daddy wrote:

"If someone wants to toot their horn at the expense of others, maybe they should expect a question or two about it."

There were no qualifiers.
I took him up on it and predicted the eventual outcome.
I was correct.

I'm just trying to get it straight. Sometimes you say you are. Sometimes you say you aren't. Some people say you are. Others say you aren't. If you aren't, I don't get why everybody gets their noses out of joint when I make a crack about your drinking.

She detailed her personal and corporate efforts on behalf of unwanted pets, but never replied to my question asking if she made similar efforts on behalf of unwanted children.
In fact, she disappeared.
But, of course, she has made her pro-abortion stance well known in previous discussions, so it is no surprise.
You're as bad as George! If someone has something else to do and has to deviate from Topix, it just MUST be because he/she can't deal with the questions. Idiot.

I believe I did answer your question regarding making donations on behalf of unwanted children. I do quite a bit to help everyone I can, wherever and whenever I can. In the specific area where I used to live, shelters were nearing a financial crisis and I decided to help. If you want to condemn me for that, so be it. I really don't care. Anyone who condemns anyone for trying to be helpful is messed up.

And again, I'm not pro-abortion. You can't supply evidence to the contrary.

You're barking up the wrong tree there. I'm not a pro-abort. I wish there wasn't a need for abortions. But in the meantime, I go agree that women should have the right to choose. Never in my life have I ever said I was FOR abortion. Your friend Bob has however.

You've shared that you're a lawyer...without offering proof.
I've shared that I volunteer on a weekly basis...without offering proof.
When you find a difference between those claims, let me know.
Sure.

Someone asked me what I did for a living and I told them and haven't mentioned it again since.

You decided to Lord your self proclaimed moral superiority over others by offering, unsolicited, that you do more volunteer work in a week than others do in a decade.

Paco...I'd buy him so much liquor he'd be resembling Mr. Lahey on Liquor Day.

Tip, although you responded to Che, I'll take this one, cause I started it.

I claim I'm a lawyer. I've made statements numerous times about what I do, and about the field I typically practice in (Juvenile abuse and neglect). Where I went to school has no bearing on whether or not I actually am a lawyer. I could simply lie and pick one of hundreds of colleges, or tell the truth about it. But in the end, one could easily arrive at a conclusion, based upon my commentary over the past few years whether or not they might agree that I really am what I say I am.

After you made your claim, I asked you where you donate the time and materials you claim to donate to help "unwanted babies".

You said not a word about it, refusing to offer the most rudimentary example.

Oh...and where you went to school is just as irrelevant to that issue as well.

That would be relevant if Duke "tooted his horn" about his bachelor's degree. Which he doesn't. They graded on a curve at Colby, didn't they?

I hardly think he's given any of his precious time to actually raising any of these unwanted children he supposedly cares about. I imagine more than likely he's one of these people who just gripes about how awful abortion is but doesn't do anything about it. Does he go to schools and talk to high-risk kids? Does he line up at abortion clinics and offer those women help raising their kids for the next 18 years? No...he just passes judgment on them.

Agreed. The HSUS has the funding via powerful celebrities and the emotionally laden commercials.
Those commercials are one of the few things that can turn me from a perfectly happy person to a crying mess. WHY do they do that???

Absolutely right!!
There's a site called Charity Navigator that tells all about all the charities and how they divvy up the money!
A lot of the CEO's get a hefty salary....?????? Between all the ads, salaries, lawyer fees, banquets, etc, not much of your donation goes to the animals.

How is that you identify a human being as being a "high-income white" person?
Because the people who show up at these events aren't. That's how I know. When you've had as much experience as I have going to these events and getting to know the people, you find that out.

How often do you go and volunteer your time in the ghetto?

I've never said you were. Neither has Che, I don't think.

But he is right...you are being used as a pawn here by the people who you claim care about you.

Anyway...I do love the power of a huge diesel engine and being able to manipulate a backhoe like a Christmas toy.

Its fun for a while...just not in the heat of summer or the cold of winter. Especially winter. Frosted feet and knees.

Now that I've mentioned that, I'm sure Paco and Tip will ask me for proof of where I got my operating engineer's license as well.

Choose their own destinies. Choose whether they want to have a child, have an abortion or give the child up for adoption. That's what choice means.

And we're to believe you donate time to animal shelters? I believe tip. Or is the point here to denigrate anyone who doesn't do "good" as we define it? tip's point: what is more valuable--human or animal life. In his eyes (and mine), human. Nothing more, nothing less. If I am wrong, he is free to speak up.
