Where do you do that?

Actually, the whole idea is ridiculous. That's the point.
Ever had any exposure to the drug testing field? Dip tests vs. confirmatory lab testing? False positives? Costs of administrating a DOT approved program? Costs of judicial appeals? Costs vs. so called "savings"?
If not, and you think that drug testing for "welfare recipients" (who are primarily under the age of 18) provides some sort of a workable solution to a "problem", you really haven't thought bery hard about the issue.

Just responding to your post where you said given the right set of standards you might be for it dukie.

Actually I own a union company where the union (not me) does random drug testing.

I have never allowed an employee to be drug tested and have found many ways to get around it as I am firmly against it.
(It's that pesky constitutional 4th amendment violation thing)

So errrrr yeah, in addition to being against it I have thought about it "bery" much. Thanks for asking.

We all do. It's called 'taxation.' Better that than funding abortions, in my opinion.
The HSUS and many other animal-related charities receive some taxpayer funding as well...and yet many are compelled to voluntarily donate funds to save and support unwanted animals.

MPNF is stridently pro-abort while actively saving unwanted animals.

The contrast is remarkable.

I'm not asking for specifics. You made a claim that seems a bit unsupportable. You do that often.

Support it.

Thanks for attempting to play though.

The difference in the situations is that no one is born an alcoholic. People are born black.
One can become a recovered alcoholic. Black people can't unblack themselves.
It sickens me to see people coddle an alcoholic because he's just like them, except for the whole substance abuse thing. And then these same people feel that black people deserve any and everything that happens to them just because they're black. There still are fundamental barriers that black people must overcome in this society, simply because they're black. Just because some of us succeed doesn't mean that the barriers are no longer there.
When that alcoholic joins in with the racist behavior of those people just like a trained monkey, well then any empathy I may have felt just goes out the window. If he wants help, he can help his damn self and stop whining about being sick and sacrificing for his kitties and doing whatever kind of work he thinks he does and waking up the next morning to find he gave all his money to a whoore.
WOW!! That's all I'm going to say about this one. I'm sorry you feel that way.

The more personal information a person reveals on line, and especially topix! the more it gets twisted! and is used against you.

I don't know of anyone who is "pro abort".

If you have some evidence that MPNF is more willing to provide financial support for unwanted pets than for unwanted children you might have a point.

I doubt that you do.

Of course not. You have a bad habit of making assertions that you cannot support, so when someone politely asks you to support them, rather than do so, you attempt to hide the ball.

That's the way you always roll.

So once again, what and where are all those "materials" and "time" you're donating?

Then certain people should learn to keep better control of their fingers, or expect to be called out on their lies.

Baseball been berry berry good to me.

God bless the 4th, 5th, and 6th Amendments. I wish people would learn to use them. Of course though, that would reduce my income considerably. It amazes me that people speak to the police.

Isn't alcoholism hereditary? It's in the genes. It is a desease.
Why is it when people need the most help at their lowest moment, the help isn't there?
Condemning someone for their weakness will only put one in a spiraling downfall.
Empathy...now is the time to practice it toward a fellow human being.

She detailed her personal and corporate efforts on behalf of unwanted pets, but never replied to my question asking if she made similar efforts on behalf of unwanted children.

In fact, she disappeared.
But, of course, she has made her pro-abortion stance well known in previous discussions, so it is no surprise.

What a completely unfounded assertion, which you expect others to accept without proof.

I know what you're saying, I am just so hideously sick and tired of the 'welfare way of life' and contributing to it my via taxes. And it surely is not confined to one racial group. It's a generational taught thing now. And really weakening the country. Look at Greece and France.
My first impulse, in my personal life, also is to throw $ at the problem, but that's wrong. It's not sending the right message and it's totally a 'stop gap' solution.
Now I have in the past, and will in the future, I'm sure, pay a bill or give someone $ that needs it. But I will not do it on a 'you'll pay me back' basis.
My dad used to say,'once you give someone $ it's none of your business what they do with it.' Very true.
You work hard, I work hard, i.e. everyone should work hard. Not work hard at not working.
And idle hands are the devil's workshop.:-)
Your buddy Dave was just crying about not being able to get food stamps.
