Obama's Labor Dept. was sandbagging...under his direction.
You know it. I know it. All thinking Americans know it.

Can you believe that old stinking, lying again Romney is telling donors the reason he lost was because Obama, was giving gifts. I should have known, Mitt would start lying to his donors. They know, why he lost, he was too much like George W. Bush. First he bought his way to the nomination, now he is blaming Obama. What a lame excuse.

You are consumed with your fool self Clevon. What do you know about Islam, that is really true? There are over a billion people that are Islam. Have you ever talked to someone that is an Arab, that pray to Allah. Most I have talked to in Jordan, Egypt, Pakistan, India, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, I would take them over you any day and twice on Sunday. The more I read your posts, the more I realize what a damn windbag you are, that knows little about most subjects. You are what Christians call a hypocrite. People on here probably call you a stupid jerk. You know what you are. You aren't fooling anyone but yourself. You need to bone up on subjects. Or at least engage your pea brain, before you attempt to write. The best thing you could do is take a hike. Are you capable of taking a hint? I don’t think so. Now you can call me a moron, what ever you like. I am not here to argue with you. I am very new on Columbus Topix. But this is far from my first rodeo.
So you're a Muzzie loving anti-Mormon bigot who thinks you're worldly and intelligent, yet call those with whom you disagree all manner of names while claiming that although new here, your vast "rodeo" experience will lead you to glory among the shivering herds in the vast wasteland of Columbus Topix.
You are the second least intelligent person on these boards, and with your Muzzie knee padding you're closing in on LIG for the bottom of the barrel. You two have already fought it out due to your sheer stupidity...may the race to the bottom for you be entertaining for us.

Romney mentioned cutting funding for higher education which scared many young people. I say they need to be more selective and not give student loans to those who don't belong in college.
Romney talked about cutting deductions, but have no specifics.(Not like Obama gave any specifics either). When you start threatening to cut freebies it scares people because then they know they lose out on free stuff.
I personally think Romney lost because of the following
1. The media spun everything against Romney and hid most things (Benghazi, fast and furious, sandy)
2. Romney didn't play hardball. He tried to be presidential and didn't go for the jugular. The media and the left slung lots of mud, but Romney didn't. So Obama didn't run on his record. He ran on making Romney look like the bad guy.
3. Too many people voted because they are living a good life on the government tit and know Obama will keep it flowing and Romney would have ended it.
I think democrats have gotten enough people on assistance now that they have created a super majority of voters. Romney was completely correct about the 47% comment. Unfortunately, too many people were too stupid to read the entire comment in context.
So we are stuck with the president who promises the world and delivers nothing.
His latest press conference was just more vague promises and partisan talk. He basically sounded like bush and basically said "if you're not with me your against me". Glad to see that bipartisan spirit he promised lasted a whole week.

Turn in your I.D., walk out of the V.A. door never to return! People with your mentality should not be working for a entity that you hate and despise. Get you a loan from the "private market" and find a building then "pull yourself up" by your own bootstraps! Don't accept any "commie" government medicare payments either! Cash money or gold only. You people are a freaking joke! Also, bipartisan doesn't mean pass everything the other side wants. That's not bipartisan!

If Obama didn't bribe people with the bailout of GM and didn't exploit anger against the white male, he would not be president.

Yes, we all know it. And we all know there was voter fraud.

I think it may be coming to national attention: 59 districts in Philly and not one Romeny vote. The same in some Ohio districts, I'm told. 141% voter turnout in St. Lucie Florida?

Why do you use the moniker 'WISE AMERICAN'?

No, I don't use 'socialism' for everything Obama does. I also use: inexperience; corrupt; lying; arrogant; socialist; doesn't like America, divisionist....lots of things. And I like NOTHING he has done.

Tell me what he's done that I should like. And don't say end the war in Iraq, because it's still going on and is just a safer haven for terrorists to grow stronger and bolder; or set up schedule to withdraw from Afganistan, because that's a pipe dream.

And what does he intend to do about Israel today. Leave them high and dry like he did our people he planted and left in Libya?

Oh but you ARE a part of a herd! Or more correctly, a pack! You are a lowly bone and skin eater of the discarded scraps that the Alpha wolves leave you. You curl your tail under your balls in submission to the multimillionaires who hire loud mouth underlings that spew hate on Fux Noise!

The markets go up and down due to various reasons out of our control. We can't control what happens in Europe or the middle east, so learn how globalization and stocks work, before you regurgitate what you hear Beck or Limbaugh say. Learn what "hedge the market" means and how Mitt's friends screw up the stock market for their profit. You rightwing wing bats are a really uninformed and ignorant bunch of clowns I've ever seen! All the "talk show mouths" have to say to you goons is "guns" "sex" and "socialism" and you stupid freaks go ape shit, without thinking about or looking at the charge from another source. STUPID!!!

Hey clown, why don't you post the employment rates of all the Red States that voted for Romney???? Bobby Jindal is trying to tell you fools something, but your minds are closed...

“No, I think that’s absolutely wrong,” said Governor Jindal, a rising Republican star who is Indian-American, speaking at an RGA meeting in Las Vegas.“Two points on that: One, we have got to stop dividing the American voters. We need to go after 100 percent of the votes, not 53 percent. We need to go after every single vote.”

“And, secondly,” Jindal continued,“we need to continue to show how our policies help every voter out there achieve the American dream, which is to be in the middle class, which is to be able to give their children an opportunity to be able to get a great education.… So, I absolutely reject that notion, that description. I think that’s absolutely wrong.”

Romney was echoing his infamous “47 percent” comment during a fundraiser in May – that 47 percent of the public will vote for Obama “no matter what,” because they depend on government and see themselves as victims. It may have been the most damaging gaffe of Romney’s campaign.

Obama crushed Romney among minorities – winning 93 percent of African-Americans and 71 percent of Latinos – and he won 60 percent of voters ages 18 to 29.

Neither Romney nor Jindal is 100% correct in his assertions.
Entitlements are part of the story.
Union/crony payoffs, corruption, fraud and state media make up the rest.

After the past election, the GOP should have learned they cannot defeat such a well-oiled, corrupt machine by messaging alone.

One, the U.S. percentage of union membership was over 30% during the 1970's, its now only 8% in all of America, nearly nonexistent in the south! WTH are you people talking about???? Don't you get it!!!???? The wealthy lied about creating new jobs with the tax breaks they've gotten for 12 years! People's wages are stagnant and their working longer hours and getting stress out. CEO's have gotten $200,000,000 worth of raises and bonuses since the Bush tax cuts. Corporate profits are at 50 year all-time highs! Don't you get it man! The Reagan ideology is only working well for the top! Even small businesses under 100 employees are not prospering under the Bush tax plan. You've been handed a load of bull by the right man. Why can't you see that!!!

American taxpayers could wind up losing as much as $25 billion on the 2008 – 2009 automotive bailout, according to a new report, a figure that has increased by 15% since an earlier forecast, in large part representing the significant downturn in General Motors’ stock price.

Beginning with the outgoing Bush Administration in 2008 and continuing once Pres. Barack Obama took office the following year, the U.S. Treasury invested $85 billion to help the domestic industry survive the deep recession – primarily to fund the post-bankruptcy turnarounds at GM and Chrysler.

But, in a report sent to Congress, the White House raised to $25.1 billion the amount it said it cannot now expect to recover – primarily by selling off the remaining 26% stake it still holds in GM. The previous quarterly estimate was $21.7 billion. On the other hand, the latest figure is about 45% less than the $44 billion the Obama Administration had once predicted.

The forecast has actually been rising for some months, government analysts last year issuing a projection closer to $15 billion. And, following the November 2010 GM IPO, there was some hope the Treasury might even break even. That was based on some industry research, such as one report from influential Deutsche Bank that initially forecast GM shares could eventually top $50 compared to the IPO strike price of $33.

But, in recent months, automotive shares in general, GM in particular, have been tumbling. The $25 billion government loss forecast was based on a stock price of $22.20 at the end of May. During the last month, however, the number has dipped to less than $19 a share, though the stock has since rebounded to $20.61 at midday today.

GM sold off more than half the shares held by American taxpayers during the 2010 IPO but the Treasury is still the maker’s biggest stockholder at 26%— or 500 million shares. GM’s stock price would need to jump to $53 for the government to break even.
