Well, being such a great thinker, even if self taught, you clearly have a great take on gender relations. Clearly no woman could stack up to what gents like you offer. Shame we can't staff all the roles out there with Renaissance men like yourself.
Nobody gave me anything,I earned it,I worked in a coal mine for six years in ohio, worked on a farm at twelve years old, worked on a trash truck one summer during summer vacation while in high school, packed school books, unloaded train box cars, loaded tractor trailers, worked ten years in in meat packing plant, worked on mechanical and hydraulic presses for five years, and no Government ever told a company to hire me,or paid them too.Woman and minorities got it made, companies are given a certain amount of monies from the tax and spend Government to hire quota's.And then you have affirmative action helping to even the score, and those that get hired this way know it,and they act like it too.I went to school to learn a trade for two years, got an associate degree in Refridgeration and heatining. My point is I did it all on my "OWN" no help or influence by big brother. And I retained those jobs on my merit!!,and hard work,no hand outs,no NAACP,or Government looking out for me when I cry sexual harassment.Todays employment climate is B/S filled with P/C and people who play the system, and Companies suffer, and either go out of buisiness,or move over sea's..........

According to a Gallup report published Tuesday, over 95 percent of the nation’s grandfathers began their careers by walking straight into a place of business, saying “I’m the man for the job,” and receiving a position right there on the spot.“I just went right up to the owner, looked him dead in the eye, and told him I was the person he was looking for,” said 78-year-old William Chambers, whose story was nearly identical to accounts given by thousands of other grandfathers interviewed for the report, each of whom emphasized that they placed both their hands firmly on the businessman’s desk, explained that they were “go-getters,” and concluded by saying that, if hired, they would be the hardest worker the company had ever seen.“Right away, the fellow told me he liked my gumption, and then we sealed it all with a handshake. I had that job until the day I retired.” Chambers added that, like two-thirds of the grandfathers surveyed, he also gave the pretty girl behind the counter a wink and - wouldn’t you know - 50 years later they’re still together.

The article is funny but back then getting a job like that meant driving a new car, having a place to live, and sending your kids to private school. Not now. At least we get to laugh at the stupid middle-class as they turn into poor people. Have fun with it...

Those that advocate stealing from those produce to give to those who do nothing are insane. Educated or not the insane offer nothing of value to a conversation about economics or politics.

I have no idea how you manage to consistently miss the mark.

Here, the joke is simply that he's not exceptionally clever and that is it likely this, rather than those dratted womenfolk, that have kept him from moving on to bigger and better things.
