If obama had a son he would look like the guy who misses our day's delivery often times. Then the pfhuqqer shows up real early the next morning and then later in the afternoon the regular guy shows up.

Well, the term 'going postal' sure originated for good reason.

Petted Pinetree cat on the head twice. Today she got worm meds in her food. Haven't located the kittens, although they are only a week old, but expect to soon. I don't want to push it and have her move them. Also have been putting her lunch in a crate, which she enters willingly, so I think we will be able to catch, spade and vet her easily when the time comes. Seems to like socializing more. I sit next to her while she eats dinner and she is quite used to it now.

The bad news, left my car truck open the day they took the wheat off the field. A mouse moved into it and had a litter. I've removed three dead, two live and had a blanket chewed up. Same night had to rescue 3 wood ducklings and take them to bird rescue the next morning. The joys of living in the country.

Wish you'd register, Bud. You can block anyone you do not want to get PM's from.

How small are the wood ducklings? The Canada geese are plenty big enough to be on there own around here. My mallards never leave they just come in the one barn when it.gets super cold.

Just keep a distant watch on pine tree cat. If she is getting use to you she probably will move the kittens just once and then let you see them.

Thanks for confirming my thoughts on Pine tree cat. KIttens should be 9 days old now.

The ducklings were tiny. Too small to be on their own and too small for me to properly handle. We have a great organization, Tri-State Bird Rescue, where they will be properly taken care of. None were injured.
Yes, the local goslings have been getting around fine and venturing further from mom and dad. Geese are so capable of taking care of themselves that I don't worry about them very much. The fox makes a large circle past them and they hardly notice him. No threat there.

Mallards are so handsome.
