Glad it went to the Repub, but 'one tree does not a forest make.' Look for O to approve the Keystone Pipeline and all dems to come out strong against Obamacare.

Harry Reid is a soft spoken LIAR. Nothing more. He'll spend eternity in hell for selling out.

It shows how unpopular the two regime priorities (amnesty, Obamacare) are
The GOP candidate had a lobbyist background, he was outfundraised by the better known socialist candidate
And he still won

Turnout is known to drop in special elections

The most reputable polling was in the margin of error, but the socialist candidate was thought to have an early voting lead

I myself was quite suprised to see the GOP win this one

The pipeline debate for the left is a question of enviro $$$ vs union votes

Sort of like how the GOP does immigration, the elites have $$$ for amnesty, but only the nationalist base has votes

I expect/fear an approval for both right after the elections in November, because the status quo keeps the votes and the $$$.

FLORIDA: Democrats Take Brutal Loss in ‘Must Win’ Race...

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2014/...

Privately regarded by Republicans as a weak candidate, the former lobbyist Jolly overcame both funding obstacles and a Libertarian party challenger who received five percent of the vote to beat Democrat Alex Sink.

The race was widely considered a referendum on Obamacare, with top political prognosticators calling it a “must win” for Democrats in the weeks leading up to the election.

A Sink loss would "would almost certainly be regarded by dispassionate observers as a sign that President Barack Obama could constitute an albatross around the neck of his party’s nominees in November,” Stuart Rothenberg, one of the most highly respected political handicappers in the country, wrote in Roll Call.

“Tonight, one of Nancy Pelosi’s most prized candidates was ultimately brought down because of her unwavering support for ObamaCare, and that should be a loud warning for other Democrats running coast to coast," National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Greg Walden said.
A republican won in a republican district in FLORIDA.

The district voted for the regime twice, 50.7% in 2012, it voted for the socialist candidate for governor (2010) who was also the socialist candidate in this election.

The same socialist candidate that had more funding.

But this district's voters aren't part of the suicide caucus. Sink was full dope for amnesty.
