The DeadSea Scrolls tells a whole different story, because they were hidden from the Romans and never found until this century.

God didn't actually write those words.
But as long as you are using The Bible as a reference:
Mathew 7:
"Judge not lest ye be judged."
Also the "Word of God".
Black Moron strikes again.
Read and contemplate:

What did Jesus mean when he said not to judge others?

Not a prohibition on admonishing others

Jesus did also not intend his words to be used to stop others from admonishing others when they are committing sinful behavior.

Jesus himself told his ministers:

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded" you [Matt. 28:19-20].

That would include teaching his commands regarding sexual morality.

Also, admonishing sinners is a spiritual work of mercy that we are to engage in:

"My brethren, if any one among you wanders from the truth and some one brings him back, let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins" [Jas. 5:19-20].

That pretty much covers what Phil said.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
The keyword is Congress. That's how the interpretation comes about that it is government that can't impede on your right to free speech. That's what the LAW says.
Personally, I think what he said was irresponsible at best and inflammatory to say the least....
If you read the interview, it was a lead in question. He answered honestly what he was asked.

What I find AMAZING is again, the media and the screaming politically correct totally ignore that he also included drunkards, adulters and a few others the Bible teaches and some Christians adhere to. He replied with his opinion and not as a judge. Non-Chrstians don't get this.

This was not, in any way, an attack on gays, but someone somewhere decided they would twist it that way to profit or call attention to themselves and A&E stupidly fell into it.

I admire the man and I was raised and am a practicing Christian. I do not believe that a homosexual who abstains from sex is any different than a hetrosexual who refrains from adultery. Where is the sin?

Is the sin of homosexuality any greater than the sin of adultery? Not in my book.

Now, many of my fellow Christians do not agree with me on that. Including my mother, but we do agree that we are all created equal and it is not our place to judge, or to 'bear false witness.' Had Phil Robertson spoke untruthfully in order to please 'man', he would have offended both God and Christians.

Yet...some of the same people furious about his candid remarks go to great lengths to attack anyone who chooses to keep Christ in Christmas. Shaking my head at the hypocrisy.

Well said. Sin brings unbelievable pain and chaos to the sinner. That is why a caring person, Christian or not, should do their best to intervene and help them.

We all sin daily. But we all do not make it a constant life choice. Hate the sin, love the sinner. I was taught that gluttony is a sin likened to drunkeness.

Paula Dean got zapped. Maybe he will too. When you are a star on TV you have to watch what you say and do. He should have kept his thoughts to himself. However you feel about homosexuality is your prerogative, but do you really know what causes it. No, so to condemn some one is wrong. Could it be possible that it has something to do with their hormones? You only see the outside of a person and make judgments.

Then came Act II.

Robertson proceeded during the same interview to compound his vocal faux pas by implying that black folks were happier in the days before integration:

“Where we lived was all farmers. The blacks worked for the farmers. I hoed cotton with them. I’m with the blacks, because we’re white trash,” he said.”They’re singing and happy. I never heard one of them, one black person, say,‘I tell you what: These doggone white people’—not a word!… Pre-entitlement, pre-welfare, you say: Were they happy? They were godly; they were happy; no one was singing the blues.”

I have yet to hear any defense of this comment from Fischer or Starnes.

It’s a testament to the greatness of this country that someone as racially oblivious and as homophobic as Robertson has his own television show. He reminds of a character from the novel The Color Purple who was under the false presumption that the black maid who took care of her family actually felt any sympathy or love for her or her parents. She found out that the woman had been forced to work as a maid for her family as the result of a ridiculous offense.

The fact that Robertson didn’t hear any complaints from the black farmers was a testament to them, but not for the reasons he described. I’m a few generations from those farmers and I can remember always being advised by those who lived back then to be careful as to how I behaved and what I said around white people. It was less about racism on the part of African-Americans and more to do with safety. You see, back then, a word or movement by blacks taken the wrong way by whites was the difference between being safe in your bed and swinging on a tree as a mutilated corpse with your “johnson” as a souvenir in someone’s pocket. And that included any white person – whether it be the owner of a store, a white woman you walk by on the street, or even the so-called “white trash” who worked the field with you and would probably snitch on you in exchange for more privileges or money from the other whites who could dole them out.http://www.alternet.org/sp eakeasy/alvinmcewen/homophobic -and-racial-obliviousness-duck -dynastys-phil-robertson

Zoe Regen wrote:
“Duck Dynasty” dad Phil Robertson responded to his critics, who have been slamming the A&E star for very graphic statements he made about his preference for heterosexual sex over homosexual sex.
“I myself am a product of the 60s; I centered my life around sex, drugs and rock and roll until I hit rock bottom and accepted Jesus as my Savior,” he said in a statement sent to FOX411.“My mission today is to go forth and tell people about why I follow Christ and also what the bible teaches, and part of that teaching is that women and men are meant to be together. However, I would never treat anyone with disrespect just because they are different from me. We are all created by the Almighty and like Him, I love all of humanity. We would all be better off if we loved God and loved each other.”
Meanwhile, A&E has remained mum on Robertson’s controversial comments, and the network did not respond to FOX411's inquiries about whether or not his comments could impact the future of the series.
In a wide-ranging interview with GQ, Robertson didn’t hold back when sharing his thoughts about homosexuality and sinning.
“Everything is blurred on what’s right and what’s wrong... Sin becomes fine,” he said.“Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men.”
Click here to read his entire interview in GQ.
Paraphrasing Corinthians he added:“Don’t be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers—they won’t inherit the kingdom of God. Don’t deceive yourself. It’s not right.”
The gay and lesbian rights group GLAAD was quick to criticize Robertson for his comments and they called on A&E to take action.
"Phil and his family claim to be Christian, but Phil's lies about an entire community fly in the face of what true Christians believe," said GLAAD rep Wilson Cruz. "He clearly knows nothing about gay people or the majority of Louisianans – and Americans - who support legal recognition for loving and committed gay and lesbian couples. Phil's decision to push vile and extreme stereotypes is a stain on A&E and his sponsors who now need to reexamine their ties to someone with such public disdain for LGBT people and families."
Robertson also told GQ his family has lost their privacy since they were thrust into the limelight as the stars of the hit show, but it was well worth it because the series has given him a platform to spread his religious beliefs.
“For the sake of the Gospel, it was worth it… All you have to do is look at any society where there is no Jesus. I’ll give you four: Nazis, no Jesus. Look at their record. Uh, Shintos? They started this thing in Pearl Harbor. Any Jesus among them? None. Communists? None. Islamists? Zero. That’s 80 years of ideologies that have popped up where no Jesus was allowed among those four groups. Just look at the records as far as murder goes among those four groups.”
Still, he doesn’t expect his fame to last forever.
“Let’s face it, three, four, five years, we’re out of here. You know what I’m saying? It’s a TV show. This thing ain’t gonna last forever. No way.”
And he may be right. Back in 2007, A&E halted production "Dog the Bounty Hunter" when it was revealed that Duane Chapman had used racial slurs. The series returned after several months but was later canceled.
The Twitterverse quickly reacted to Robertson's comments, with social media users both slamming and praising the TV star.

You know what? From now on, every person on TV, movies, people in public should always lose their job if they offend someone. If they offend gays, blacks, whites, Jews, Christians, even freakin hamsters. They should all be gone. No questions asked. You can't just make an example of one. Get rid of ANYONE that says something offensive or hurts people's feelings. Let's start today and go back through everyone's past and get them fired too. Let's be fair about it. Right?

Homosexual Activity Among Animals Stirs Debate
James Owen in London

Birds do it, bees do it, even educated fleas do it. So go the lyrics penned by U.S. songwriter Cole Porter.

Porter, who first hit it big in the 1920s, wouldn't risk parading his homosexuality in public. In his day "the birds and the bees" generally meant only one thing—sex between a male and female.

But, actually, some same-sex birds do do it. So do beetles, sheep, fruit bats, dolphins, and orangutans. Zoologists are discovering that homosexual and bisexual activity is not unknown within the animal kingdom.

Roy and Silo, two male chinstrap penguins at New York's Central Park Zoo have been inseparable for six years now. They display classic pair-bonding behavior—entwining of necks, mutual preening, flipper flapping, and the rest. They also have sex, while ignoring potential female mates.

Wild birds exhibit similar behavior. There are male ostriches that only court their own gender, and pairs of male flamingos that mate, build nests, and even raise foster chicks.
