You don't retain much do you. The story said the old man was attacked in his truck. They have meds for ADD now.

I'll have to echo what's said above about the 357.
He got lucky this time. He probably won't spend a lot of time behind bars unfortunately.
A word of warning; Don't mess with older people. It's not very smart. They can't run very fast and have lost the desire to mix it up physically. That's where the 357 comes in.
The next time you feel like you want to show road rage and it involves an older person, you could wind up tasting pavement face down.

Sure is a good thing nobody had a gun - someone might have gotten hurt.

I'm saddened for both families' loss.

What is sad is road rage continues. Where is our famous State Highway/Police Department? I've had too many incidents where I've been tailed gated due to individuals wanting me to go faster when the car in front of me is going slow-duhhhh like I'm going to cause an accident...one guy actually didn't wait (this was on Morse Road and I was in the right lane at Morse and Karl waiting to turn right after the light changed - oh the light says no turn on right - the jerk behind me kept beeping and signaling for me to turn right--and kept moving inches closer to me car and I thought he was going to hit me--BUT he forgot there was a car ahead of me! so what does he do? Gets in the next lane and flies around us and shoots in and turns right as our light was changing---

Again, where's the law enforcement?

Yep. I carry a gun. If that 24 year old would have approached my sled, he would be eating lead.

All for what?
Mean people come to a mean end, eventually.
It takes two to fight. Was it really worth the effort?

Looks like the older guy bit off more then he could chew.Just because someone is old doesn't mean they dont need to be punched in the head.I know plenty of old pricks that could use a fat lip.

It will be hard to convict the suspect given the 3 day time frame from the altercation.

Right there on the corner watching the entire thing - shaking their heads as to what to do. That's the law enforcement.

Law enforcement is to busy with "revenue enhancement" at their speed traps to have to deal with or prevent this sort of thing.

Prayers to the family members of the older man. Unfortunately, the younger one will plead to Involuntary Manslaughter and get probation.

Always, always, always practice with and carry a gun.
