Just yanking your chain. I don't count New Years ( eve ) as a holiday.
Why not, don't you get New Years Day off or go to New Years's Eve party? I am always glad to see a new year even tho it means I am another year older----just look forward to MAYBE having a better year than the last one--usually not!

I have oil and gas wells so depending on if there is a leak or if I have any day off. This afternoon I shot a new well instead of fracking.
I just never thought of New Years day as a holiday. Christmas Hanuka pass over Easter Memorial Day, Independence day, Veterans day Yom Kippur and Thanksgiving are holidays. Not all celebrated by everyone but Holidays
New Years is just a change of date to me.

You would like mine rowdy.
I fold in real whipping cream and fresh nutmeg, and either brandy or rum.....it's Dee- lish-ous!
My family waits every year for it. We serve it with the pastries and cookies, an after dinner treat! Even the kids love it...without the booze of course!

Home made might be good. I have only had the stuff in a carton. My dad worked for a dairy when I was a kid and brought that stuff home quite often.

Dairy!
I remember getting milk delivered. With the cream floating on the top! Yum!
Them were the days!
Do you remember getting margarine and a yellow packet to mix in to make it yellow? Yuk!
What dairy did he work for? So many have gone out of business.

My uncles used to own a dairy store franchise, I think it was called Isaly's if I'm spelling it correctly. Anywho, my mom and I got some delicious stuff there year round.
Those uncles made their own eggnog at home during the holiday and it was scrumdelicous. I believe they used rum in theirs.

I certainly remember Isaly's and growing up we had Euclid Race Dairy, now defunct.
They had a lot of good products and I miss the personal deliveries and chatting with the milkman and placing the next special order.
The ice cream was so good also!

Yes! That's when Euclid was a prime area! It was on 200 St.
I didn't live close by there but always made a special trip. It had an old fashioned ice cream parlor. Quaint!
We always went there for ice cream sundaes!
Yum!

BizzyBee and ChilliGal, dad worked for Guernsey Dairy in Circleville and Greenfield Ohio. They bottled their own milk for a few years, then became a distributor of Borden's products. A few years later, they switched to Meadow Gold, that was their downfall, closing in the mid 60's. No one liked that crap.

I hope that old man in the Red Suit brings you The Book Of Topix Manners you old sow. Or just plain skips you from now on. No I will not wish you a Merry Christmas ever again after the way you turned out in 2013. You are no good SL. Plainly a rat from the get go, and I hope you will STOP running after every man and woman on here. How many years have you been a bisexual?
LMAO Your desperation is apparent in every word of the above.
Hate to tell you, I'll be just fine without your well wishes, wide rider.
