So Spook, have you ever seen an all black (rac)coon? I got a pic of one about an hour ago. Of course, he was dead along the road.
My daughter had black squirrels in her yard all the time.
I have never seen a black raccoon though.

If you feed a raccoon will he be a regular or do they come sporadically?
A deer almost jumped in front of my car tonight. Whew! Close call!
I know a woman who goes to Florida every winter but she leaves her doggie flap on the garage side door opened all winter. She has a sleeping box for the feral cats and big food and water containers. Another person checks once a week to make sure there's enough food and water. BUT, one year, a raccoon got in the door and it looked like a war zone. He ate all the food, and knocked down just about anything in the garage. Total mess!
She doesn't do it anymore.
Lol
Racoons will come back again and again for.free.food. Racoons are like skinnys and.canada geese. The are.com pletely uncivilized and shit everywhere.

I kill racoons all year long. They are disease.carries anymore because no one hunts them much anymore.

Years ago I had a family of raccoons, and the babies would sit in the flower box under the window and look into the window. Cutest darn critters I ever saw.

About five years ago, I had a resident skunk living under my shed. During the winter, he got sick and kept circling around the yard about 50 times, then he circled my neighbors shed for hours. I never saw anything like that.
When I opened the garage door in the morning, I smelled skunk. So I walked toward the street and there it was...laying in the street, and what made it worse was the snow plow threw him further down the street.
Poor thing.
I think there rabbits now under the shed.

I was a bit afraid to go near the skunk being sick..I might have startled him and maybe he would have bitten me.
Oy!
I don't have a garden anymore......so the bunnies eat all my plants.....lol
Between the rabbits, and the deer, I don't have any leaves or flowers left.. I don't get upset.....but I haven't seen a HOSTAS plant or my bearded Iris' for years. As soon as they bloom, snip snip!

Will you deer hunt soon? Or do you do all year long?

Bow season is in now. It is not much like hunting more like choosing which ones will make.the best roasts and tenderloin steaks. Did some thinning out the herds for an apple orchard with all the deer being given soup kitchens and elderly that get the commodities.

Just wanted to "AD"
WOW, How in the heck does anyone put up with the ads Topix crams on their site? Apple updated their operating system to OS X Mavericks and Glimmer Blocker was not compatible with the new version, yet...
After reinstalling it on a couple attempts, It's the Java 6 which includes a library not installed in the original OS X version.

Note: After reinstalling, uncheck "Activate Glimmer Blocker" in menu bar(under set up), then check mark it back "ON".
**If anyone here uses this ad blocker with an issue**

That has a built-in blocker, however I use Safari which don't seem to filter all ads. I'm assuming google chrome don't block all ads, because they have Glimmer Blocker for Google Chrome users.

I use an iPad and they are most annoying......I have the ad blocker on but to no avail.
What annoys me also is watching a video or a stream of pics and there are ads inserted in the mix.

I don't have an iPad, but it all depends on how you're using your iPad. If you only use Wifi to browse some blockers i've read help.(weBlock, Atomic), however, in the app store, "AdBlock" is supposed to work with IOS 6 (wifi/cellular data) or a later version of IOS, if available.

I would go to the app store> type "Ad Blocker" and see if one fits your device.
I don't think i'd recommend Atomic due to what people have said. I'll let you know if I find a great fix.
