I am trying to raise money for my two daughters. For clothes for school mostly but transportation and other things would be nice as well. My youngest is sabra, 5 in October. Angelique is 6 years old. Sabra has cerapal palsy and has alot going on with that. Has a hard tim communicating and is set back a little but she is doing very well with it. Coming along great. Going to a school for mrdd children for the second year. Angel is going to be going to first grade this year and has alos had a rough life but its got alot better than it was before. I seen this site and dont really know much about it but if it will help me get things that my kids deserve but I cannot provide as good as I would like. Than I thought it might be worth a shot. Also we live at gma and gpaws house. I am a 26 year old single father currently trying to do online schooling to better myself as well. If there is anything else you would like to know just ask. Thank you all.
First off if the child is already getting social security disability then good. I'm also sure Medicaid is paying all the medical bills for both children. You also say that you live with your grandparents so if anyone should be getting a childcare subsidy it should be them. I hope they are claiming you and your kids on their taxes too since they are taking care of you.

Job and family services is where you need to go. They can help get you in touch with local resources to get you either rides to doctor appointments or vouchers for gas.

As others have said find a job and work.

Ask reader to help you. She's a social worker and seems always willing to say how much she is down for helping the poor misunderstood folks. Unless of course she won't do it since she isn't on the government time clock.

You really picked the wrong way to raise money.

This isn't English/grammar/spelling class. Since you're so intelligent you can probably find this guy a job. Do something useful.
My writing skills don't make you any less of a moron. I honestly don't understand how most of you old men have become so miserable and jaded. Life isn't that bad.
Spook is single and not that old. Maybe you two could get together and air your differences. He can bring his pet skunk.:)

You couldn't be more wrong. The ignorant, uninformed and unprepared are always the first to succumb to the malevolent outside forces of man and nature.

Piggy backing on VA's points. There is nary a medical professional that would leave you out to dry. I find it hard to believe nobody gave referrals.

Let me put it this way: Someone who might be able to hire may be able to quickly find personal information on the internet, such as social media. First impressions can mean a lot when it comes to hiring folks to work with you, and it can easily result in a "no thank you" once viewed (separate and apart from any other negatives). You may wish to consider that before judging others for not helping find someone a job. Perhaps they couldn't even if they wanted to. Just saying.
As to the old jaded men, they read a lot and are keenly aware of what's going on in the country and in the world, unlike the "don't worry, be happy" crowd. I don't blame them for being jaded. At least they're informed, which is more than I can say for most of the country who relies on the heavily manipulated teevee for information. Funny how "Duck Dynasty" is such a hit, but people don't even understand (or want to understand) basic Civics which we were taught in high school years ago.

This is the most profound statement ever posted on Topix. It should be engraved upon the State of Liberty, carved into Mount Rushmore, and amended to the Declaration of Independence.

People like you scare the hell out of me for the future of the country. But don't worry, be happy. And I hope your child, when an adult, has some semblance of a free country left. He/she may not. Because while you're pretending nothing going's wrong, everything's going wrong. To ignore that is extremely ignorant and irresponsible as a citizen. Too serious? Tell that to this family:

Wow is right. I'm pretty sure you scare small children and animals everywhere you go. It's pretty cool that you changed your name many times to come back and pat yourself on the back for the comments you made to me earlier. I'll just respond to this latest alias okay Sybil? I've offended so many of you with pretty mild words compared to what I've seen most of you post to each other. Yet a women offends you? Good luck in life. You're going to need it a lot more than me. I don't live my life scared and angry. Never will. Ta-ta.

Two tries are better than one. Besides, I can't let a possible Hottie pass by, if Bob's not present.
