Che is very insecure and demands attention, good or bad.....doesn't matter...as long as the spotlight is focusing on Che. The best way to get rid of a pesky person...IGNORE!!!! And with any luck it will go away! LOL
I think also, parents should be responsible for the diets of their children. Kids live what they learn. Although, there are ethnic groups who don't give a dam about their kids period.
Che has so many issues that she'd need an 28 day inpatient admission at Harding to be evaluated.
I agree about who should be making decisions for the kids...their parents. Period.

Another interesting post. However, you still haven't shown us the law that tells people what to eat.

Not so fast sliding that one in. Walking home with candy and pop while minding your own f'ing business, is not 'thuggish '. I'm surprised that a so-called 'Constitutional scholar ' and 'freedom of self -determination ' would make a statement like that. I guess being a youth with a hoodie on walking through a 'nice area ' exempts those freedoms.

<quoted text>You missed more than that in life, moron:
This morning, President Obama signed a presidential memorandum to create the first-ever federal task force to provide "optimal coordination" between private sector companies, not-for-profits, agencies within the government and other organizations to address the problem of childhood obesity.
"We think that this has enormous promise in improving the health of our children, in giving support to parents to make the kinds of healthy choices that oftentimes are very difficult in this kind of environment. And so I just want to say how proud I am of the first lady for her outstanding work," the president said, as she looked on.
The task force will be charged with coming up with a "long-term action plan" after an extensive review of all federal nutrition programs.
"I have set a goal to solve the problem of childhood obesity within a generation so that children born today will reach adulthood at a healthy weight," the text of the president's memorandum reads. "The first lady will lead a national public awareness effort to tackle the epidemic of childhood obesity. She will encourage involvement by actors from every sector -- the public, nonprofits, and private sectors, as well as parents and youth -- to help support and amplify the work of the federal government in improving the health of our children."
President Obama also plans to reauthorize the Child Nutrition Act, the first lady said, and is proposing a $10 billion budget increase --$1 billion a year for 10 years -- to help provide nutritious school lunches to those who qualify.

Actually, I would be offended if I saw the same scenario out in public.

There are some who don't give a rats a$$ about anything and with total disregard of others and social common sense dress codes.

Putting one's self out there in an obnoxious outfit screams two things... I need attention, look at me, and total disrespect to the establishment and the patrons who frequent it.
It's like they're waiting to be approached just to claim it's their right...etc....you know the argument...my rights are being obstructed....bla bla bla......

Fascinating analysis. I thought I was simply asking these knuckleheads to identify the law that tells people what to eat.
There is no law telling people what to eat. The USDA issues federal guidelines that schools must adhere to, dictating what must be served in school cafeterias.

The problem Che, is that you are relentless with questions, to the point of annoying and you like to "twist the knife" when you're ignored. Take a hint and back off then maybe you will have more luck with people by respecting them.
I don't care if they are Dems or GOP's...respect is the key to a civil conversation.

And it's contained in a law called the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010. It also tells people in schools what they "can't" eat, in detail.

I wouldn't go to Giant Eagle to save my life. And I only bitch about the ones using tax dollars to feed their kids. If they earn their own scratch, I say go ahead and feed your kids what you want. It's none of my business.

It doesn't matter - ghetto moms will continue to feed their kids the cheap easy junk they can buy with their snap cards at the local grocery store - if their is one. Most have moved out do to rampant shoplifting of everything.

Nobody, I repeat...nobody from the federal government is dictating that people eat specific foods.

Tell that to Tony and Georgie, aka Nate the Neoconservative. They insist that President Obama signed a law dictating what people can eat.

I am relentless because I refuse to tolerate the lies. I don't twist the knife when I am ignored. I twist the knife when I am right. Right now, I've got the knife buried deep in Nate on two lies today alone and I intend to keep twisting it because I like watching him squirm. As far as respect goes, I give the man who calls black women "wookies" and "silverbacks," black men "Rastus" and "Pavement Apes," grown men "little girl" and "douche," as must respect as he deserves. If you don't like it, take your own advice and move on.
