The double standard at work again.

While the media is jumping on the Sterling lynching, the virtually ignoring Kerry's gaff accusing Israel of apartheid.

Kerry's fate should be no different than Sterling's.

How so Tony? Are you seriously jumping on the Bubba train and claiming that Mr. Sterling was somehow forced to donate to a candidate or cause that he would not have donated to absent that force?
Seriously?
woof
The threat of force assertion was the collection of tax money to support lazy Democrats. But I forgot that unions also force their members to donate to Democrats.

It was not a "gaffe", that's accidental.

Kerry was outlining a typical far-left understanding of Israel, though he isn't the first Western leader to make such a comparison, the pseudo-right UK PM David Cameron has said something similar.

Yes, Kerry should resign, be fired, impeached, etc.

So your statement had absolutely nothing to do with Mr. Sterling.

Doesn't Mr. Sterling have the right to express himself in a private conversation?
What about the gangster rappers who constantly use the "N" word?
There is an extreme double standard here.

Are we now in Africa under tribal rule or in Haiti under savages / mob rule as in Detroit or Chicago?
The NBA is private property, the franchise agreement, just like with a McDonalds franchise, allows the franchisor to be deposed if in violation of the agreement.

Sports Franchises are nothing at all like a McDonald's and owners have the singular power to relocate a Franchise (i.e., old Cleveland Browns relocating to Baltimore) regardless of what any other owner or even the commissioner thinks.
Commissioners work for the owners, not the reverse.
Sterling has already gone on record that he is not going to sell his team, especially the new owners who are typically billionaires with immense resources with a long history of this sort of behavior towards minorities.
No they don't.

A McDonalds awards "territorial rights", so do pro sports leagues. It required the permission of the Baltimore Orioles owner in order for the Montreal Expos to be moved to DC.

The moving of the Browns was subject to a vote of the owners, and it passed.(Officially, the Browns did not actually move, Modell was technically granted an "expansion franchise" and the Browns were "deactivated", practically, this did not exist as Modell kept the old players and most importantly, Ozzie Newsome)

So far all I've seen are black basket (case) ball players being interviewed. Why haven't any white basketball players been interviewed? And the blacks are screaming "RACISM"

What is sad about this is the attention it gets while families are losing their jobs, homes and all hope due to a poor economy. Time to move on as Sterling and the ball players will remain rich while more families go hungry while losing their jobs and home.

Donald Trump Predictably Makes The Donald Sterling Saga Worse
Although Sterling has a history of being sued for housing discrimination based on race and for making other racial remarks, Trump spent a large portion of his weekly Fox News interview on Monday attacking then-girlfriend V. Stiviano.
“It’s terrible, he got set up by a very bad girlfriend,” Trump opined.“Let’s face it. That whole thing is — she’s called the girlfriend from hell.”
Fox News host Brian Kilmeade noted that many viewers had taken Sterling’s side because “it’s a private conversation… clearly, she was baiting him.”
“It’s so bad,” Trump agreed.“She was baiting him, and she’s a terrible human being. And he gave horrible answers, and disgusting answers. You’re right, it’s a private conversation. But it became very public.”
Co-host Steve Doocy pointed out that TMZ reported on Monday that Sterling had asked his girlfriend to record him for over 100 hours because he was forgetful.
“That kind of sounds like a defense,” Doocy observed.“I’m a little forgetful. I don’t know what I’m doing.”
“He could be out of it in terms of his actions,” Trump remarked.“The way she led him along. He should know, if he were there, if he was with it, he would know after one or two of those questions that she was answering and asking that there’s something going on here.”
“You look at the way he’s being baited, just constantly being baited,” he added.“I read part of a transcript and it was ridiculous.”
Later in the interview, Trump speculated that Sterling was “close to incompetent” because he was “led along by somebody who was so obviously looking to do harm to him.”

An attorney representing the woman Donald Sterling was talking to when he made racist remarks said Thursday that the hour-long conversation was taped by mutual agreement last September and provided to a friend for safekeeping, who then leaked it to TMZ.

V. Stiviano sent two snippets of the conversation, recorded in her Los Angeles duplex, to a friend who released them without her permission, lawyer Siamak Nehoray said. He would not identify the friend.

Nehoray said she sent snippets of the conversation recorded on her phone electronically to her friend for safekeeping in case anything happened, but only two went through, Nehoray said.

He wouldn't elaborate on what prompted her to send the recordings.

Nehoray said Stiviano, 31, only learned they would become public after TMZ contacted her. She was devastated, he said.

"She's a young girl thrown in the middle of this thing, unwillingly," Nehoray said. "She didn't release the tape. She gave it to somebody for safe keeping. It was unfortunate that it was released. It's a lot to deal with."

She is 31, which is well into adulthood. She should have rented a safety deposit box instead of givong the tape to a non friend.

Disgraced Clippers owner Donald Sterling, already facing looming battles with both the NBA and his estranged wife, reportedly also is fighting for his life, having been diagnosed with prostate cancer, according to the New York Post and ESPN.

"€œThey thought he would die two years ago,"€¯ a source told the Post. "People have been predicting his imminent demise. I'm sure he has the best ... drugs money can buy. He can do anything to keep himself alive."€¯

Sterling, 80, reportedly has been holed up in his Beverly Hills penthouse, having fled his Malibu mansion for fear that it's bugged. He has been "calling everyone, saying:'Tell me I'€™m not a racist,'" a source told the Post, adding that the friends are refusing, thinking Sterling might be recording them.
