The fact Sterling is a racist, and has been his entire life.........why do black people work for him, and attend his games he is handsomely paid for?

In lieu of berating the guy and the NBA saying they are forcing the team sold, why not the players just quit?

The NBA can not make him sell the team in court......just for reality.

The sponsors left......why not the players?

The guy is an 80 year old fool, and anyone working for him is a bigger fool.

Let the free market determine the fate of the clippers.

PS: I thought the clippers was a baseball team in Columbus. I don't watch them either. Kids baseball and basketball games are the only time I watch either. I banned professional sports 30 years ago. Not a cent of my money goes toward them. I also won't be voting to pass Zoo taxes. Private business is up to the owner to fund, and not taxpayers.

College sports is about banned by me......anyone want to buy 2 season tickets to OSU football?

when overseas I watched rugby.

I agree 100% to your comparison.

We pay coaches millions a year, and professors 10% of a coach salary if lucky.

something stinks to high heaven, and priorities have been changed.

How so Tony? Are you seriously jumping on the Bubba train and claiming that Mr. Sterling was somehow forced to donate to a candidate or cause that he would not have donated to absent that force?

Seriously?

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has wrapped a news conference in which he announced the NBA's punishment of Donald Sterling for controversial comments Sterling allegedly made about blacks. The Clippers owner was banned for life and fined $2.5 million.
Silver also said he would urge NBA owners and the board of governors to force Sterling to sell the team.
"I am banning Mr. Sterling for life from any association with the Clippers organization or the NBA," Silver said.

Most had expected a large fine and suspension to be handed to Sterling after he allegedly made controversial remarks about blacks that created widespread outrage.
The NBA's bylaws allow for owners to be expelled from the league, though that power is reserved for limited circumstances, such as the inability to operate financially, gambling on league games or fixing games.
The more likely route, which Silver took, lay within Article 35 of the NBA Constitution, which allows the commissioner to indefinitely suspend owners for "conduct prejudicial or detrimental to the association."
All of this has happened with the team preparing for Tuesday night's Game 5 of its best-of-seven playoff series against Golden State; the series is tied, 2-2.

Vitrol is high enough that an action like that would lead to some kind of seizure by the DOJ

Sterling has been under DOJ investigation, some scratch here and there can make that go away (IE Harry Reid)

What does any of that have to do with a rich white guy who owns a basketball team and likes to screw pretty younger girls of mixed race?

You made a claim that you cannot support, Karl. I merely pointed it out to you.

Now, why do you think judges came to the questionable conclusion that forcing busing of innocent kids was a viable solution to a problem? And who caused that problem that those judges were attempting to correct?

Donald Trump Predictably Makes The Donald Sterling Saga Worse

Although Sterling has a history of being sued for housing discrimination based on race and for making other racial remarks, Trump spent a large portion of his weekly Fox News interview on Monday attacking then-girlfriend V. Stiviano.

“It’s terrible, he got set up by a very bad girlfriend,” Trump opined.“Let’s face it. That whole thing is — she’s called the girlfriend from hell.”

Fox News host Brian Kilmeade noted that many viewers had taken Sterling’s side because “it’s a private conversation… clearly, she was baiting him.”

“It’s so bad,” Trump agreed.“She was baiting him, and she’s a terrible human being. And he gave horrible answers, and disgusting answers. You’re right, it’s a private conversation. But it became very public.”

Co-host Steve Doocy pointed out that TMZ reported on Monday that Sterling had asked his girlfriend to record him for over 100 hours because he was forgetful.

“That kind of sounds like a defense,” Doocy observed.“I’m a little forgetful. I don’t know what I’m doing.”

“He could be out of it in terms of his actions,” Trump remarked.“The way she led him along. He should know, if he were there, if he was with it, he would know after one or two of those questions that she was answering and asking that there’s something going on here.”

“You look at the way he’s being baited, just constantly being baited,” he added.“I read part of a transcript and it was ridiculous.”

Later in the interview, Trump speculated that Sterling was “close to incompetent” because he was “led along by somebody who was so obviously looking to do harm to him.”
