Why not you spend your life quibbling about words and pretty much everything else.
Because in this case it is simply obscuring the point.

Are you familiar with the concept of paraphrasing?

They can pay less by going to the proper provider, same as you.
In fact, Tony, there are a number of providers who will not see Medicaid patients as a part of their office practice, but will routinely refer to hospital-based clinics, most of which can be triaged to from the ER.

But, there are also a good many Medicaid patients who are established with regular primary care physicians and see them for regularly scheduled visits and so forth.

And your suggestion would be wrong little whiner. You're the one living in a dream world. Sell your house get a job where you can't play on topix all damn day and make something of yourself rather than sitting around chastising those of us who don't choose to live in the ghetto and then whine about our living situation. You're nothing but a know it all whiney bitch and you are getting owned on this thread. You're nothing but a bullshit artist who if she knew half of what she thought she knew you wouldn't be working for the state sitting on topix all day hating on the man out if jealousy.
I'm done with you because you aren't worth my time.
Yep, I am getting "owned" by a highly educated man who is at the point of spewing obscenities at me because I don't aspire to the same material things that he does.

Bipartisanship:

Both political parties agreeing to defy USA Labor Law, The Constitution, and demands of Natural Law: what Mother Nature, God, or Whatever Power decreed to be the reality of the real world, democracy, capitalism, the US Constitution, and free, fair, and affordable commerce and common sense demands.

Demanding every Business Owner and Stockholder, corporation, farmer, business, outsourcer sweatshop, and nonprofit, tax-exempt, organization and Church; markets the cost in the wholesale and retail price of his or her product and service; of every worker, consumer, and taxpayer's wages (union contract), healthcare insurance, pension, investment and independent business profit.

This enables every worker, consumer, and taxpayer to pay healthcare insurance premium or pay healthcare provider. Pay ALL taxes and pay for every product and service they use for life. With money derived from wages, healthcare insurance, pension, investment, and independent business profit.

And enables every parent to educate, love, nurse, nurture, discipline, protect, and provide; for every child (job) they conceive. And fund schools, infrastructure, local and national security, government services, and etc.; with money derived from wages, investment profit, and independent business profit.

And hold Union workers, consumers, taxpayers, and America’s grandchildren’s children, Government employees, Parents, Teachers, Veterans, Police, Firemen, and Fathers disqualified for affirmative action with white skin, Representatives deny Collective Bargaining Rights accountable.

To fund Illegal drug users and Immigrants, lottery, casino, and keno losers, unemployed Union workers replaced with nonunion workers, Human Traffickers, waitresses that pander for life for $2.00 per hour, slaves in tax abated enterprise zones, low-income child labor, consumers, and taxpayers, volunteers without wages, and nonunion workers willing to work for fewer wages than they can afford life. That pays with welfare checks, food stamps, housing vouchers, and Medicaid.

Pay interest on lottery winners winnings Legislators invest in school bonds, Pay for all stimulus packages, tax abatements, tax incentives, tax refunds, tax credit, and tax exemptions.

Pay sales tax on the more stock dividends (money) OPEC Nations, Enron Stockholders, Wal-Mart Stockholders, Hillarys, Chinese, Foreign and Domestic Investors and Stockholders (money marketers) market quarterly. In the wholesale and retail price of every product and service Human Beings use for life. And School Boards and Government needs to build, maintain and operate schools, infrastructure, and provide local and national security, and Government services. That gets only product or service.

Needed to measure and maintain the strength and growth of this UNAFFORDABLE economy and distribute money Human Beings cannot digest, burn in internal combustion engines, or burn to heat and cool their American Dream. Into OPEC Nations, Enron Stockholders, Wal-Mart Stockholders, Hillarys, Chinese, Foreign and Domestic Investors and Stockholders portfolios.

Defying USA Labor Law, the Constitution, and Realities demands makes it IMPOSSIBLE for President and Congress to avoid fiscal cliff. Makes free, fair, and affordable commerce IMPOSSIBLE; Makes funding schools IMPOSSIBLE; Makes balancing every budget IMPOSSIBLE; Makes Union workers, consumers, taxpayers, and Americas grandchildren's children life UNAFFORDABLE; and created Ohio’s $1.35 trillion budget deficit, the $40 trillion social security and the $16 trillion national debt. America’s grandchildren’s children are responsible to pay Chinese, Foreign and Domestic Investors and Stockholders interest with this debt until they are 18 years old.

America’s grandchildren’s children cannot afford life and pay this debt with the $7.25 or $9.00 per hour Government mandated labor wage in a hundred million years.

nonsense. His mother had house full of guns at the ready. She was also receiving upwards of 284,000 dollars a year in alimony, plus her teachers salary, plus cadillac health insurance. There is NO reason her son was not being adequately treated. The Sandy Hook tragedy is the result of poor parenting.
The kinds of conditions that seemed to be operating in Lanza's psychological make-up are not brought on by poor parenting. Although, I agree that keeping guns in the house was foolish. But that is pretty much the case as well about most households--particularly those with children.

BTW--She wasn't a teacher.

I said last week and I will repeat it again: You are attending a church that promotes itself as Christian and the pastor and congregation condone or encourage abortion; you are listening to a false prophet. It's so cut and dry there is no discussion needed. But I don't care where you go or what morals (if any) you adhere to.
Like Doc said, you are a waste of my time.
SL--when I presented you with a list of well-respected mainstream denominations that do not toe your particular anti-aborion line you denied ever having anything along the lines of false prophets and so forth--and went into your "aren't we all trying to get to the same place" song.

I honestly don't know if you just cannot remember the things that you post, or you get so caught up in trying to win an argument that you get confused, or if you just outright tell lies.

What I do know is that you are not terribly consistent with the things that you say, particularly when being called to account for having said something.

Kosmic--who frankly had a much better memory for such things than I have--put considerable effort into goin around with you on some specifics.

I guess he got tired and just went away.

The reality is that SL claims to know all of these workers who represent various groups--all of whom are supposedly surprising in their ability to outwork some other folks who are not making out so well income-wise.
Just given her conflation of "people with 70 IQ" with people with autism that she worked with one summer while she was in college, I call BS. People on the autistic spectrum tend to have normal to above average intelligence.
Your (and her) laser-like focus on word-smithing looks like an attempt to change the subject because she plainly is in over her head on the content that she herself introduced.
Have a nice day.
No, I call BS - on you. Here's what she said:

IQ does not impress me. My sister's was off the charts. But she was a wonderful, compassionate person. And productive. That's what counts.
Unless you're doing something constructive, what does it matter?
I've seen guys with IQ's under 70 put in a full day's work and get the job done. God Bless them.
The only time I have any comment on IQ is when some state chooses to execute someone with an IQ under 70. I strongly oppose such action.
You twisted it, Reader, and there's no getting around it. It has nothing to do with me wanting to play wordsmith, so stop blaming me for your shortcomings.

Quit splitting hairs. While the psychological conditions of Adam were not perhaps brought about by poor parenting, the outcome was, and perhaps may have been avoided if his mother had kept guns and violent video games out of her house.
What mother attempts to "bond" with her troubled son over a day at the shooting range? And then leaves him unattended without securing the guns by safely locking them up where he couldn't get to them?

That is exactly the point, Tony.

Hospitals have solved the problem for themselves by creating onsite urgent care and primary care facilities.

Now--there are some concerns about folks not being tightly connected to a primary care facility--but that seems to be true across income levels. Consider things like pharmacies and grocery stores setting up mini-clinics for everything from flu shots to sports physicals. Most docs that I know don't think its a very good idea. But patients seem to put a premium on convenience.

Yes, and I followed by asking if they were Mexicans--referring back to her frequent citation of a hard-working pair of "seasonal" employees that she knows of (in the employ of a relative of hers).

She accused me of being bigotted and thinking that all Mexicans had an IQ of 70.

I explained that I had assumed that the 70 IQ hard-workers she mentioned were the same as the Mexican hard-workers. Somewhere along the line I grasped for a proper terminology for these various workers she claims to know, calling them "down-trodden," for lack of a better term.

Thinking back on it, perhaps there is a more appropriate term. I should have called them all "imaginary."
