Even then, the Caribbean winner of the Economics Nobel appears at least 1/4th white. And it was 40 years ago, not repeated since.
Sir William Arthur Lewis
Sir (William) Arthur Lewis was a Saint Lucian economist well known for his contributions in the field of economic development. In 1979 he won the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics, becoming the first black person to win a Nobel Prize in a category other than peace.

No, he is no where near white. But continue with your rant. This forum allows you to revel in your lily whiteness and redneckery.

Outstanding.

you require economics education is all I will say.

and the fact you don't believe supply side economics proves you are clueless regarding it.

and why you resort to insults is beyond comprehension why you would do so.

That means I have 1000 times more economic experience than you.

and just think.....my income taxes owed for 2013 exceed what my bankruptcy forgave.

sorry to spit directly in your face, but I was forced to run my own business.

I overcame adversity to hold my current position with 3 fortune 100 companies.

Since 2009 my net worth went from a forced ZERO by federal judge, to top 10% earner in the USA. All done by myself with ZERO help.

go ahead and laugh........only in the USA can someone walk from 20 years work, and in 4 years make it all up and then some.

yes I walked directly over you to earn my position. I must be superman to have accomplished this according to you. All my friends and neighbors expected me to come from divorce smiling in a couple years, and I am smiling.

while you were complaining, I was manipulating the background so customers saw me as the solution.

Yesterday I received my 2014 legal agreements for commission payments, and receive a half percentage point raise. Do the math on 11 million and half a percentage point if you want to understand economics. Fortune 100 companies don't give out money unless they receive a higher rate of return on investment.

Point....go network building friends in the business climate, and make your own income stream by providing solutions to problems.

I wish every person on here had their income double in 2014. Arguing who we send charitable contributions to would be more fun.

Supply side economics supports the trickle down theory. What you are stating is supply and demand.
If you have goods on EBay, that is simply a seller supplying a good or service, not utilizing the trickle down theory. Voodoo economics, Reaganomics...

Thanks for letting me know your understanding of the system.

exactly how many employees do you employ?

exactly how many times have you borrowed money to pay payroll or taxes?

exactly how many health insurance policies to you provide others?

exactly how many times have you risked your home as collateral?

and how many times you been divorced from a woman that had her entire inbred family at court hearing with their hands out?

Bankruptcy gave her and her families hands frostbite.

every single day I am approved for a new credit card, and my credit was only bruised by bankruptcy because you can see I was forced into it by having assets repossessed that exceeded my ex's credit card bills.

I have a new mortgage in my name after 4 years from bankruptcy, and a beacon score most likely higher than yours.

ZERO % financing on new car worked for qualified buyer just last week.

So only you care about my bankruptcy, and the banks want to loan me money because I can't do it again, and have document proof of income.

Your arrogance charms no one here.

The distinction between "hard" and "soft" sciences isn't that hard to explain.

Natural Sciences "hard"- Biology, Chemistry, Physics

Social Sciences "soft"- Economics, Political Science, Psychology

Sorry, Keynesian ideas aren't considered Gospel here. I don't favor the orthodox supply side argument either.

Pretty soon we are going to need a flow chart to try to keep up with all of this. 11 months ago you were crowing about how your new tax bill was ZERO, now you are crowing about how high your tax bill is. Today you are saying that you were decimated by this bankruptcy and yesterday you said you only had one credit card bill erased.

If I didn't know better, I would think that you make up your anecdotes on a post by post basis.

Of course, the commentariat hate the results.
The way I arrange it, I see each individual as having a certain potential to stive for, but not all have the same capacity. I likewise see success in many parts to be defined against a cultural currency and heritage, which is outright denigrated in our system.
Would I charge myself as a "collectivist", no, as that's a highly loaded term designed to minimize the fact that many aspects of ourselves are not freely chosen, and some arguably shouldn't be.
No, no two individuals will have the same "capacity" in terms of talent or ability. But I do believe the majority has the ability to take care of themselves in some manner.

The context I was using "collectivist" in wasn't with the idea we have aspects about ourselves we cannot control -- ie., skin color, ethnicity, intellectual ability. I was using it in the idea of a tribe mentality--we must be "superior" than another group or individual because "look at us and what we have and our traditions." In the long run, you'll fall on your arse with that discussion because we all have strengths and we all have weaknesses. Whites are superior because we have more NASA astronauts? Okay....we've also had a lot of Nazis too who were actually quite anti-science!

Weherner von Braun was the leader of the Apollo program, and a Nazi war criminal
