You know that means multiple mothers-in-law, don't you?

Yeah, they never think about that, do they? Or the multiple child support orders that leave you eating ramen noodles or living on the run for the rest of your life.

I doubt very much that fictional partners require payments in real currency.

Though I've often been wrong before...

I didn't see anything crude, rude or vulgar. And furthermore, if you don't agree with it, no one is forcing you to partake in the activities or even be witness to it. In fact, you don't even have to approve of it.
Would you rather go back to the time when men and women were beaten, raped and murdered for their sexual preference?

These parades are an embarrassing sign of a by gone era, most the original Stonewall marches died of Aids many years ago. Putting prevision and debauchery on display is something that even the majority of gays disapprove of, but like all liberal groups, the radicals set the tone in displays that are crude, rude and vulgar.
Show me a picture of what "prevision and debauchery" looked like at the Columbus Pride Parade this year.

Funny, you seldom hear from women who are eager for multiple husbands.

I think that just as the outside protesters are waning, so too are the vulgarities.
Having been to a few 4th of July parades in Columbus, they are pretty lackluster by comparison. In fact, even DooDah is better than most of the actual 4th parades in Columbus.
I've been to the DooDah and I've been to Red, White & Boom. I'll go to DooDah again, never again to Red, White & Boom. Too crowded, too many uncertainties, too many incidents of violence.

Did you choose your sexuality? I've known a few homosexuals who I knew were gay before I even really knew what gay was - even at four and five years old they were either very masculine for girls or very effeminate for boys (not saying all homosexuals fall into this category, but for these specific people, they did). I don't think anyone would choose a sexual preference that ultimately makes them a target.

Absolutely. I choose to be a normal, decent heterosexual. I choose to have sex with hot chicks and not men.
And you have every right to choose that. And others have a right to choose differently. Being a heterosexual doesn't make anyone normal or decent. It just makes them attracted to the opposite sex.

The Fourth of July, eh? Not sure I want to know how they carried the rockets... or in which direction they were pointed.

I watched that show "Sister Wives" a couple of times when it first came on and was astounded when the husband was revolted by the idea of a woman having multiple husbands. He said it was unnatural for a woman to have sex with more than one man at a time, but somehow it is natural and acceptable for him to have multiple wives. To each their own and far be it for me to dictate how anyone should live their life, but I think those women are nuts.

Actually, I like the Boom--but, I have generally been able to watch from comfortable places with room to spread out and share a picnic. But the parade always seems to be sort of an afterthought--pretty lame. I would imagine that they have a hard time getting school marching bands in the summer.

That is a down side. Marry orphans or at ones who's mothers are dead.
