That breaks down to a round of golf every 13 days, roughly. That's not excessive. Let's see, the last President was on vacation 42% of the time and the nation was attacked just as he was coming off of one of those vacations.

In this light you don't make a very compelling point.

Let's say Romney becomes President, are you saying he won't play any golf for 4 years? LOL That's what I thought.
I heard Romney doesn't play golf. Instead I heard he hunts clueless libtards like you.

I heard he's waiting for you to pull your head out of your butt so he can get a killing shot in.

Going to one's ranch where everything is set up to function as the White House does isn't a vacation. Jimmy Carter spent quite a bit of time in Plains and LBJ was at his ranch quite a bit, too. The problem for Clinton and Obama is that they had nowhere secure to go. But the media won't point that out.

I happen to remember the media playing a clip of Bush talking about meeting for security meetings later in the afternoon and then saying "and now watch this drive!". This was on CNN and MSNBC a lot when he first became president. Heck even Michael Moore put it in his movie above 9/11.

So are you saying it was ok to rail on bush for golfing and taking security briefings from his private ranch, but others can't question Obama and his lack of attendance at such meetings and his excessive vacations and golf outings?

I believe what that poster was saying was that there are for more pressing issues right now that need his attention rather than playing golf and wasting taxpayers money traveling all over the place with a shaved ape.just for his enjoyment.

Don't you know that the Marxist Fisters supporters expect you and I to shut up and hand over our bank accounts. After all how can redistribution occur if it is questioned.

It seems Reagan also had no where secure to go.

I don't think the nation agreed to have a 'telecommuting' President. George W. set a record for not being in office. I don't know if anyone kept track of the hours he spent on his bicycle or golfing himself.

Anyway, a couple of rounds of golf per month or so is hardly excessive.

Say what? Reagan had a 688 acre ranch that he used just like Bush:

As far as "telecommuting," this isn't a CPA we're talking about.
Now, what kind of president literally sleeps through an international crisis that could be construed as an act of war, gets up, give a five minute speech then flies to Las Vegas to raise money while his ambassador to Libya is missing, them three days later, while the Middle East burns, goes to NYC and parties with Jay-Z and his golden champagne fountain?

The U.S. House has time to vote against the Affordable Care Act 33 times but doesn't have time to vote for Obama's jobs bill.

Bush took his vacations at his home and hosted dignitaries there. He also held meetings with staff and attended every Presidential Daily Briefing.

His vacations were working vacations. Look it up.

Why do you expect the GOP to vote for a Keynesian idea?

That'll teach me to go off the top of my head!! I forgot all about Reagan's ranch.

I don't think Obama's actions, no matter how dire you try to paint this, were out of line, let alone in any way comparable to receiving a briefing just as you start a month long (a little more, actually) vacation, in under the first year on the job, stating that an arch enemy was bound to attack. Continuing that vacation and then, after taking the long way back to work, spent 7 minutes staring at My Pet Goat while the nation was under attack.

Not even close George.

They haven't put it up for a vote at all. If they did, they could go on record for being against the jobs bill.

How many time have you done something 33 times and it not work out?

Somebody said that's the definition of insanity.

Imagine a world where a response to a remark about Obama doesn't include a reference to George W. Bush...

I heard it's all they have. 3 1/2 years into Obama's term and it's still Bush's fault. No fixes, no plans, just the same old blame game.

And they keep telling us what a dunce he was, but I haven't seen any great smarts from Obama.
