There are forces at work bent on creating a police state here so that our movements can be controlled and closely monitored! The first step is gun control, then gun restrictions, after that confiscation. Blacks are well familiar with this method. Now, the socialist are working on treating everyone as Blacks were by denying basic protection rights.
While I do think that a certain Senator from California is trying to exploit it for that purpose, no guns were used, these were probably pipe bombs, which aren't really that hard to make, just near impossible to get right.

Bush did the right thing by doing exactly what he did. He was in a room full of little kids. Had he jumped up and ran off, it would have scared the bejesus out of those kids and traumatized them for life.
I beg to differ about your reasoning of why he stayed put. Bush was in shock! Look at the footage again. Those little kids wouldn't known why he got up to leave. No one in that room knew what had just happened besides his detail!
For all the little kids knew, Mr. Bush had to get up to go pee pee. They were oblivious to what had occurred.

I hope not. He and I don't usually see eye to eye, but I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt and HOPE he has some empathy. A child was killed today and while any loss of life is tragic, a child's life makes it that much more worse.

And it happened in his home town. Will be like Israel, before long. Two cops with MP5's on every major street corner and sporting event. A police state goal is at work. I can feel it coming!

I've watched in several times. And at the time, my nephew was about that age and only one town over in Bradenton, and because of that I gave it a lot of thought. Believe me, I am no fan of Bush. But had that man jumped up and ran out, it would have not been good. Maybe they wouldn't have known, but for those little kids having the president run out on them and them not understand why - I dunno. It's hard to explain. I just feel like he did the right thing by those kids.

The explosive device used is of no consequence to the socialist. Their focus is on weapons that can be used for defense as well as offense, and semi auto rifles fit that description! A pipe bomb is not their main concern because not just anyone can make one, but anybody can shoot a gun.

Most of them seem to use M4 carbines, I don't think Israel ever used the MP5, as they invented the Uzi.

Loving the compassion here people. You know what, I HATED Bush. But when 9/11 happened, the last thing that was on my mind was how can I turn this into a political battle. My god people. And we wonder why sh*t like this happens. Take this time to be grateful that it wasn't you, your family or your friends instead of pouring all your energy into some unfounded blame game. Jesus Christ people continue to disappoint me.
A lot was said in the 'fog' of first hearing about today's events. Most people's first instinct is to try and cast about finding a reason and someone to blame. That's human.
It's such a great national tragedy, and may very well turn out to be a lone, American who did it.
Or a terrorist group. I did not realize it is the anniversary week of several other similar happenings, going all the way back to Waco.
It will be a long time before we know what brought it about unless there is a confession or some group claims responsibiity.

I think Bush handled it well that day with the children. No harm was done by him finishing his time with them, and he had a more than ample team in DC.

Yep, you've got all manner of wide open Benghazi truth to base that on. But hey, we'll judge you leftist filth on your intentions to have a truthful accounting of that Sept. 11, 2012 attack. I mean you'd WANT the truth known, wouldn't you? And would INTEND to be relentless in the pursuit of the truth, wouldn't you?

I don't believe that either. George does have compassion.

Rolling my eyes at Moore. I swear, I told my sister this last weekend--that I live in a state of "wtf?" most the time any longer, a state of incredulousness--wondering and scratching my head at the stupidity of people most days.

Three words for Michael Moore, for which this post might be duly deleted: dumb fat feck.

Yeah, I've seen it all day from the same leftists who said the same thing about Aurora, Newtown and the rest. They never learn and that's because they're never held responsible for their slander.

I realize it's natural to speculate, but I would like to think most people have sense enough to realize that anything they hear at this point is mere speculation. In all honesty, I thought maybe this is just someone who is really truly crazy and just did it to sit back and watch all of us go at each other. You just never know anymore.

There were plenty of union goons there and cameras , yet bombs still were deployed and detonated. This should serve as an example of how giving away freedom does not get security.

When I was younger I used to think he should've gotten up right then and there. But with age, I realized how important it was for him to remain composed and think about the immediate audience he had.

Spook, lots of room for reason here.

Bombs easily could have been deployed way in advance, unnoticed. Detonation could occur from quite a distance...

I am unclear of how your analogy works about giving away freedom. Who lost freedom in this situation?
