Wingnut news is rather interesting. Calm down. Pres. Obama hears your racist views and I'm sure he cares.

Ask Obama, since he is using expensive drones and killing innocents weekly to continue the war on terror, albeit in a different country. Once again, a shell game with him.
So we should be using drones in Iraq? I thought you didn't like drones.

This is one of the most twisted, sick, disrespectful things I've read in a long time. And from a "lawyer", no less!
Really? What is sick and twisted about it? This thread isn't about his war injuries. It isn't about the national tragedy that the Iraq war was. It is about hiding wingnut political rhetoric behind a war casualty. His politics are no more insightful simply because he was horrifically mutilated in that boondoggle. You guys chose to trot him out to blame Obama for Bush's folly because you think no one would dare disagree with him because of his physical condition. You are the ones who should be ashamed of yourselves.

WEll, i take it that all of you veterans supporters also support this prior letter to Bush and Cheney:

On this the 10th anniversary of the worst Foreign Policy blunder in our time I would like to share a dying hero letter.
To: George W. Bush and Dick Cheney
From: Tomas Young
I write this letter on the 10th anniversary of the Iraq War on behalf of my fellow Iraq War veterans. I write this letter on behalf of the 4,488 soldiers and Marines who died in Iraq. I write this letter on behalf of the hundreds of thousands of veterans who have been wounded and on behalf of those whose wounds, physical and psychological, have destroyed their lives. I am one of those gravely wounded. I was paralyzed in an insurgent ambush in 2004 in Sadr City. My life is coming to an end. I am living under hospice care.

I write this letter on behalf of husbands and wives who have lost spouses, on behalf of children who have lost a parent, on behalf of the fathers and mothers who have lost sons and daughters and on behalf of those who care for the many thousands of my fellow veterans who have brain injuries. I write this letter on behalf of those veterans whose trauma and self-revulsion for what they have witnessed, endured and done in Iraq have led to suicide and on behalf of the active-duty soldiers and Marines who commit, on average, a suicide a day. I write this letter on behalf of the some 1 million Iraqi dead and on behalf of the countless Iraqi wounded. I write this letter on behalf of us all—the human detritus your war has left behind, those who will spend their lives in unending pain and grief.

You may evade justice but in our eyes you are each guilty of egregious war crimes, of plunder and, finally, of murder, including the murder of thousands of young Americans—my fellow veterans—whose future you stole.

And keep in mind that loose lips sink ships, so don't for a second believe that if someone isn't screaming about it where you can read it (like here on Topix) they don't feel it, or haven't taken more subtle steps, or spends personal money and time helping vets - which does more good than a letter to Congress these days. In fact, many families of those affected have turned their angst into something positive, which, I suppose, is one way of coping with that which you cannot change.

You, right along with Che, are totally clueless. Not only on this subject, but on supporting your adult child's choice to voluntarily join the military regardless of your personal reservations.

Now go to the square in Worthington and hold up your sign calling Republicans names. So productive!/s

Yes, Obama and Biden's loose lips got a helicopter carrying most of Seal Team 6 shot down and all on board perished along with a regular G.I. and a service dog.

WW, these trolls don't respect vets, or anything else, including themselves. It's all OWED to them.

I feel that the letter was very well thought through and written to play on the emotions of the individual reading. Isn't the soldier somewhat of to blame for fighting the wars for Bush, Clinton, Obama, McCain, Hillary, Bush Jr? How can I help it that we are just pawns on a chess board of the above players schemes of catastrophe?

After seeing other people's post, I decided the letter was written to entice violence among my fellow Americans. Just what they want. To divide and conquer.

You shrill little troll. So your opinion is worth more than this man's?

You ought to be ashamed of yourself, shrilling off like a lunatic liberal and belittling his opinion due to his injuries. No, I'd listen to someone with the same opinion if they had no injuries. You chose to belittle him. It's about intolerant, shrill liberals like you. His politics are insightful because he witnessed many of the results of Obama's agenda...
